Hmm..chill out guys, both of you held some valid points...just peace out alright? And, uhmm..what's with the prize? I don't really get the meaning. My guess is that, are you asking Fearless "to get a life"?

Ok since new firmware...
1) Phone hangs randomly
2) my Jbak Taskman doesn't autorun at startup anymore...
3) Some applications seems faster...
4) the flash player seems to have some sound issue... when the flash movie someone says 'hello' it became 'hell...' can't hear the ending of each sentence... quite weird...anyone encounter this?
5) auto rotate much sensitive... i'm holding upright tilt just a bit or hand shake abit when riding in a car... the screen change to landscape! this sucks
6) anything else to add?
*
Thanks for the info. I will not upgrade then.

I already upgraded to the same version as the one i have when i bought the phone. Funny thing is that when i first got the phone, it hangs pretty often. But, after i re-install it via online (same version also), a few significant changes especially to the fonts.. the phone really works pretty good.. i got an auto reboot like once in a month even i put a lot stuff inside (100+ images, 100+ music, 1200 contacts more..) It still working fine. My version is :

V11.0.117
10-12-07
RM-313
NOKIA N82(01.01)

*added: Oh yeah, the speaker volume has improvement as well..louder and clearer... can compare to n73...

Anyone got re-install their version via online?

What do you expect from a human being with such a logic "boy got brain while girl got no brain"?

Added on April 19, 2008, 5:09 am

First you insult girl, now even go to insult "motherhood" of other people.

Added on April 19, 2008, 5:21 am

Those so-called "intelligent posters" in any forum show up their inner ugly side if you push them a bit harder. You can tell a man and a boy from their responses. Boy will start name calling, mother calling, etc. as expected.

Some of my PG friends are pro like studio 123, none of them claimd that they must have expensive gadgets to be called pro. Only clueless and ignorant person says cheap phone is for non-pro. like him/her.  rclxub.gif

Dude I already conceded defeat, you won the argument! I'm sure everyone else here realizes that you pummeled me into submission with your superior wit and flaming skills!

FINE I know where this is going ... you want something don't you??!? So here's your prize --> not one, but TWO INTERNETS (attachment)!

OK seriously then >> I've been speaking with the only two professional photographers I know (one's a senior photographer for NST Singapore, the other does studios, weddings and concerts full-time and is the "semi-official" photographer for a local artiste), and neither of them use compact digicams/phone cams in their work.

I don't debate your assertion that some photographers probably do use digicams/phone cams, but evidently even among pro photographers this is hardly common knowledge or common practice.

However I do take offense at "ignorant" and "at the world." The former is more accurately used when one lacks understanding about some commonly-known fact. e.g., I cannot call you ignorant for not knowing that, say, the taiwan stock market settlement cycle is T+1 for stock and T+2 for cash, because that is not something that the average person would know. Likewise, photography is a niche profession. And now, among all the pro photographers I know (all two of them rofl), none use digicams/phone cams. You therefore cannot assume that the average person would know this little tidbit, and thus "ignorant" cannot apply.

Let me also re-quote you one last time, emphasis on the bold:
THE
REAL
WORLD

??!?

Self-explanatory.

I figure I owe it to you to attempt to debate in a civil and intelligent manner. Read that properly, because this is the last bit of effort I'm going to make for this topic.

Your odd logic is someone win, someone lose in forum is anothe fallacy. I only know everyone got right to rebutt freely, right or wrong is subjective.

As your own submission, there is no standard way of pro photographer doing their job, you blatantly "brushed aside" cheap gadget like cameraphone (or may be cheap polarid camera) is not used by semi-pro is a plain ignorant and clueless statement.

We (I as apprentic for a photo course) used to run test shooting with cheap instant camera first for outdoor wedding photos. Many pros. in Penang prefer that way as far as I can remember.

This is my last reply to this "argument". Let's go back to N82 discussion.

the malsing map should be save in the E:\Garmin folder, did u even upload any garmin maps yet? and yes u can use wifi in your garmin, BUT only for updating some stuffs like weather and traffic condition *only for the US and euro*

If u r thinking of using Wifi to connect to the GPS sattelite the answer is no u can't.

I don't know about fearless, but I wasn't arguing seriously also. Random flaming = more interesting!

Any of you guys feel that N82 screen is too small? Lol ... when I first bought it I thought wow this screen is so big ... but after using it for a while I find myself wishing I had a bigger (a-la N95) screen instead, especially when emTubing or trying to surf the net.
