Wahh, I've been looking for something like this. Any idea when I can get it in Malaysia? I don't mind spending a bit for a quality product like this.  tongue.gif

i have tried to search around, seems like no one selling quality car mount in malaysia. so paying.. i think SGD17 for fedex delivery to KL is not bad though smile.gif

It's safe, but just backup your file if anything goes wrong. If you flip back 2 pages there's someone got his phone hang and wrote down the step to recover from it.

How much does it cost? SGD17 is just the delivery or with the mount all together? Sorry for the question, I've been looking for this also. But over here all look so lousy.

if i remember correctly, i paid SGD78 for the base and arm + SGD17 for delivery.
so after conversion of (78+17) x2.3 = rm2xx ?

if u follow the instructions carefully, i dont think u will brick the phone..
i dont think the procedures can get any simpler than what it is now.

so ur saying u have to buy the phone gripper separately? very tempting device but still a bit pricey.

how come no one bulk this thing anyway should be a hot sell if someone bulk sell it here.

Of course I've tried it and I think many of us has it too. Works for both front and back camera. Quality just as good as webcam. icon_idea.gif
I tried it with my colleague, I connect it with my bluetooth, then open a video session through WLM. Then I bring my camera (sorry my phone haha) around, the receiver can see wherever I bring my phone to (within the Bluetooth range of course). tongue.gif

Any of you guys tried this out? It's basically a FREE Mobiola Webcam clone. Haha. Too bad I don't have bluetooth dongle right. Darn. sweat.gif

Well anyway, check it out.

Ok, current update:

Installed Opera Mini 4.
The loading/processing is slower than default Nokia browser (what is it called officialy?), testing using both 3G/HSDPA and WiFi.
Both the Opera & Nokia browser still cannot scroll inside the dropdown combobox for this link:
http://www.bankislam.com.my/branchLocator.aspx
No auto-complete when entering website URL, as compared to Nokia browser. Maybe I don't know how.

thumbup.gif for the bird eye view, although not really useful, as most websites are very small in the 2" screen.

Will try Mobiola WebCam later.... smile.gif

Freeware?! Good good rclxms.gif Only Bluetooth? The Mobiola can work on both USB and Bluetooth. tongue.gif

Oh ya yesterday it took me like 30 mins to update my N82. Not bad looks good, I think it has the same features as the Black N82 already. biggrin.gif

But I noticed something, I tried the default browser and Opera Mobile, to watch Youtube videos, it works, but when I go back to emTube or MobiTubia to watch Youtube videos, they can't open the links anymore, as they say the FLV link to HTML page. blink.gif Wondering if you guys have this problem? unsure.gif

Errr .. it doesn't support N82? As not shown in the device list. unsure.gif

I've the latest update for those apps. wink.gif

Edit:
Ok I choose the N73 and downloaded the installer. I tried it, quality so so and doesn't not have the quality setting as Mobiola, also the video has a watermark on the top right. And most sad is it hangs once awhile for unknown reason. Guess it's not stable under Win Vista. sad.gif

n82 seniors, can we customize the active plugins like this ? http://nseries-mobile.blogspot.com/2007/03...by-plugins.html

Or we are stuck between enable / disabled it only. Really hope can customize the interface later on.

As far as I know, there's no way to activate or deactivate the active plugin for n82 *yet*. Haha. Maybe someday?

Ok, quick update:

1) Tried mobiola. Works with BT. brows.gif Not as smooth as VGA USB webcam, but good enough.
2) Also tried wwigo. Also works with BT. brows.gif But seems like the size/resolution not as good as mobiola.

Didn't play with it for long, just try try only.

With my updated v20 firmware, I can view YouTube videos in Opera Mini... also can in Nokia default browser... then try again in emTube... all can. No problem icon_rolleyes.gif

* Note: My phone is getting very messy with >30+ apps installed (I estimate) and another 10+ uninstalled. This weekend PC Fair going to get 8GB micro-SDHC thumbup.gif ... thinking to factory reset the phone.
