Because of R680? Won't affect much...but maybe lots of people ditch their HD3870 for the R680 lah. And you can get them cheap 2nd hand wink.gif

honestly for me,3870 not such a big improvement from his previous brother 2900xt...

Well you must compared the introduction price of HD3870 and 2900XT.

HD3870 is never meant to be fight with 8800Ultra, if so they would price > RM1.5k

R680 are meant for ppl who does't have Xfire motherboard exp X38 with both X16 speed ~~~~
ppl who wan have a try on Xfire taste which does not have budget on X38 mobo will consider this ~~~~~~

i dont think r680 will cost more than 2x 3870..
rite now u can get 3870 for rm700++..
so if r680 is priced at rm1200 or rm1300 then it's definitely a steal brows.gif

if this is real, it will be a nice card in terms of performance per price ratio.

That's similar to getting 2 HD3870 and CF...Hoping this R680 can run without the need of a CF board.
