i mean 3870X2 (as known as R680) 2 RV670XT cores on one PCB.
USD450 = RM1600.

not only that, it's 2 chips on one pcb instead of nvidia's 2 chips on 2 pcb.


the card's length is shorter than expected.

for those who didn't buy 8800gt or 3870...now is the time for action?

that is 8800gtx right?
add another 2k for 3870X2 cos it's benched with q6600 at 2.4ghz.
then the result is clear :

3870x2 = 11500
8800gtx = 8046

talk about oc capability.
i tried both before,
MSI 8800GT: 730/1000 from 600/900 with stock cooler 100% fan speed. ~21% oc
Sapphire 3870: 950/1300 from 777/1125 pencil modded with stock cooler 80% fan speed. ~22% oc

i heard that R680 will be launched by next week from mydrivers source.

i heard it's going to be retailed at USD500 which is roughly around rm1.8k here.

i though USD449 after conversion is RM1571?
(i used 3.5 exchange rate)

add another rm200 for etc charges should be around RM1.6k here.

why do you need a CF board for single pcb card?

it's same length with 8800GTX ....slightly over the atx mobo.
