3870 X2 lose to 9800GX2 yeah !!~~ maybe cheaper then RV680 also CES 2008: Faster chips We said this back in 2007 but let us be clear on one thing. Nvidia’s upcoming high end sandwich board, Geforce 9800 GX2 is going to end up faster than a single Radeon 3870 GX2. This comes as no surprise as Nvidia’s single G92 is faster than a single RV670 and in the same matter a dual chip Nvidia beats ATI. Radeon 3870 X2 will be very competition as its single chip brother was but it is still a bit slower compared to Nvidia. We still believe hat Radeon 3870 X2 will have quite good sales as it will be significantly cooler than Nvidia’s card and it will be available in massive numbers http://www.fudzilla.com/index.php?option=c...d=5082&Itemid=1 |

QUOTE(cyberfly @ Jan 11 2008, 01:43 PM) isnt it 9800gx2 the high end card for nvidia 9 series? R700 suppose to VS Nvidia GT200 which is 9800GTX i thought that 3870x2 means to beat nvidia 8 series high end card and also an experiment for ati high end r700 series so lets wait for the real match between ati r700 high end vs nvidia 9800gx2 for this i'm not so sure who will win coz Ati's R700 have 2 Gpu in one die same as Dual core CPU and for the Nvidia they are only using one single core~~ no idea who will win~ unfortunately all Next gen Nvidia cards do not support DX10.1 and SM 4.1 http://www.fudzilla.com/index.php?option=c...d=5081&Itemid=1 This post has been edited by Ezonizs: Jan 11 2008, 01:30 PM |

QUOTE(ben_panced @ Jan 18 2008, 01:32 PM) i dont think r680 will cost more than 2x 3870.. if R680 RRP is RM1300 i will chop my little brother rite now u can get 3870 for rm700++.. so if r680 is priced at rm1200 or rm1300 than it's definitely a steal This post has been edited by Ezonizs: Jan 18 2008, 12:55 PM |
