You can try www.AmSecurities.com.my - it's the investment arm of AmBank, called AmInvestment. Open a stock trading account with them and opt to trade US stocks as well. Then, you'll be on your way!!!

kelynn0713,

http://finance.yahoo.com/q/bc?s=DELL&t=my&l=off&z=m&q=l&c=

Take a look at this chart and tell me how many companies in Malaysia has this kind of sustained growth rate over many years?? How about Microsoft??

http://finance.yahoo.com/q/bc?s=MSFT&t=my&l=off&z=m&q=l&c=

There are many companies like this through out history of USA. Because of the larger market, they could have explosive growth over very long period of time.

http://finance.yahoo.com/q/bc?s=JOSB&t=my&l=off&z=m&q=l&c=

How about this?? It is a clothes retailer??

Dreamer

Let me put out a disclaimer here. I only put a very small amount of my play money on individual USA stock. It is more for entertainment value than anything else. For my play money, I GAMBLE on stock that has the potential to provide 10X to 20X return. And, I do not mind lose all of my play money in the process too. It is for FUN!!

In summary, if you GAMBLE in stock market, you can lose all your money. But, in USA stock market, there is GREATER POTENTIAL for 10X to 20X return because it is a LARGER ECONOMY. A company with the RIGHT STUFF can have EXPLOSIVE GROWTH for a long time.

Haha..thats why we all here invest in US stocks market rather in KLSE.
NYSE exchange is the most largest stock exchange in the world.
So imagine that all the big funds invest there, ...
sure got big volume with high volatility that will boost shares more than 30% in single day(for selected high growth stock such as AIG, BAC, etc..) biggrin.gif

C is down slightly, the financial sell off yesterday still a lingering problem.
If this one pullbacks to low $4 or below, BUY it!

FLASH NEWS

Rumors are circulating that a merger of Nokia Siemens Networks and Alcatel-Lucent (NYSE:ALU) would make a lot of sense.

British online gaming group PartyGaming plc (NASDAQ:PRTY) said on Tuesday it agreed to buy WPT Enterprises Inc. (NYSE:WPTE), known as World Poker Tour, for $12.3 million in cash.

What is the target price for ALU? Now already at $3.5, the lowest is ~$1 in March.

Most online brokerage allows ACH to Bank account. It doesn't matter whether you're resident or non-resident.
Examples: TD AmeriTrade, E-Trade, ScottTrade, etc.

It about whether you have a Bank account or not that allows you to do ACH.

But then most of them need you to show them the bank statement. I once been rejected because the address on my Bank account (US address) is different from my current address.

It depends on your broker. I had no issue with E-Trade and TD Ameritrade.

Automatic Clearing House (Bank to Bank/ClearningHouse transfer), same thing as GIRO transfer in Malaysia.

People use this for faster transfer and cheaper (mostly free) than writing paper cheque or bank drafts.

Nice.. good to add some more C if it drops further for long.

Anyway, here's another speculative play: LVS (Las Vegas Sands).

Yes, it is gambling stocks and it has been hammered badly during recession, but with 800% bounced from the bottom low in March, I think this one has bottomed and still got some potential upside.

While the US market in Las Vegas still weak, they're expanding in Macao and Singapore. Sooner or later, Genting business will go down and Singaporean will have their own gambling heaven.

I'm buying LVS on pullback for long. biggrin.gif
