Somemore, nowadays game developer only design games for console, and they dont want focus on pc gaming anymore(except crysis),most of the developer just port the console version title to PC,so the graphic definately lose to console. From example the PC version Call Of Duty 4 graphics is so lame compare to Xbox 360 and PS3 version.Honestly, eventhough you run COD 4 on high spec PC the graphic still lost to Xbox 360 version(or ps3).Console is designed for those who want fun and High-end gaming as well.PC is only suitable for playing the games like "Dota",and all those chinese online gaming which dont need high-end graphics.
You have to be joking right? What graphics card are you using to play COD4 on a PC. I'm using 8800gt and the graphics is superior than PS3.
For your info, I've a PS3 and I have the original copy of COD4 on PS3 but I sold it an bought the PC version instead. To say that PC is only suitable for games like Dota or all those chinese online games is an ultimate insult to pc gamers.
It all depends on what type of games you're playing. If you're interested in online, strategy or FPS, PC is a better choice. I do admit that the next gen console have equivalent or sometimes better graphics than some PC games, esp. MGS4 (wow!!!!) but if the port to PC is properly done, eg. games such as Gears or Wars, Mass Effect, etc. the graphics is much more better than the console version.
Anyway, this is a stupid thread. This type of thread will pop out once in awhile. If not console vs pc, its Xbox vs PS or Nds vs PSP, etc.
Its like comparing your d ick is bigger than my d ick. There's no answer. As long as you are satisfied, whats the use of comparing.
