Totally agree with this statement. PC suck big time compared to a next gen console. There seems to be a conspiracy between Intel and GPU card makers to force consumers to keep upgrading their PC every 2 years. Why waste all that money on upgrading your PC when you can buy more games for your console.
Somemore,nowadays game developer only design games for console,and they dont want focus on pc gaming anymore(except crysis),most of the developer just port the console version title to PC,so the graphic definately lose to console.From example the PC version Call Of Duty 4 graphics is so lame compare to Xbox 360 and PS3 version.Honestly,eventhough you run COD 4 on high spec PC the graphic still lost to Xbox 360 version(or ps3).Console is designed for those who want fun and High-end gaming as well.PC is only suitable for playing the games like "Dota",and all those chinese online gaming which dont need high-end graphics.
