it's a paint treatment that coat a layer of teflon over the car paint ...
yeah, of course can do for not new car also ...

u can go read arnd some other forums to get more user review before deciding...
but for me, no regrets as i can feel the difference in the paint surface n the shine is better overall ...

also note, for light coloured cars like silver n gold...the shine is not as obvious as a black colour car....


ya, H-line comes with SafeTint ...
it is a free tinting that comes standard in the accessories package and is the same quality as those RM400-RM600 range of tint outside...
if u wanna change to a better tint...my suggestion is u do it fast after u get ur car...as the glue from the old tint will be quite dry after sometime and may cause problems to ur demister wires when being removed...

how much for the PPS coating on persona?

Just to add on to my mail below and after monitoring my fuel consummation for the past few weeks I beginning to wonder is my vehicle a REJECTED car? I have my reasons to believe so and will not rule out my vehicle might be a REJECTED and failed QC vehicle.

I booked the persona a couple months back and WAS told by Ray that my choice of color was not available and he dares not commit then 2 days later I changed my mind and wanted to cancel my booking and I was assured by Samson that he was be able to get the color of my choice. Given the two scenario I have reasons to believe to that my vehicle MIGHT be a REJECTED stock and if that's the case what is Proton going to do about it?

I paid 50 over grand for a car and NOT for a piece of JUNK! Right now I got a piece of JUNK and selling it is impossible. I'll be very much appreciated if Proton could give a detail explanation on this issue.

We have another national fuel record again and this time round petrol warning light lighted up when the mileage is 266.7KM and the petrol that I purchased to day is 35.09L which means I still have about 15L left in the tank. Thank God I'm not doing sales if not all half of my monthly salary goes to petrol!

Come this 28 Jan 2008 I'll be visiting the service center for the 3rd time and I really do hope that my all problems will be resolved this time otherwise I demand a black and white from Proton to authorized me to seek a second opinion from the workshop of my choice and the charges will be billed to Proton!

Please also check my license plate when we meet up on the 28th Jan 2008 this month. I discovered some cracks on my license plate yesterday and the crack is causing my license plate to fall off from the vehicle. Normally licenses plate is usually in tact unless they fitted wrongly or involved in an accident. Kindly please see attached snapshot of the license plate.

I'm writing to you provide you with the weekly feedback on the petrol consummation of my vehicle. I was driving to work this morning and the petrol warning light came up at 271.6 KM while I was traveling along PIE. I then move my vehicle to the road shoulder to take a snapshot of the instrument panel after that I continued driving and make an exit at Paya Laba which is the route that I used everyday to get to my office.

To my surprise the petrol light went off when I'm driving along aljunied road and then it lights up again when I go pass a junction. I'm very disturbed by this issue and I feel no security at all and I do not know when to or when not to pump petrol. I really hope this time Proton is able to get this resolve otherwise I will need to send my vehicle to the workshop of my choice for a second opinion and I will send the bill to Proton to make claims! I'm also considering not to service vehicle at Proton after 5000KM and I'm not paying $240 for the servicing where I can get it done outside for just less than $100 buddle with high quality engine oil and with the same type of checks.

My question to Proton can we come up with an agreement that if Proton is unable to fix my problem this time, I'll be allowed to seek a second opinion from the workshop of my choice and all the charges will be billed to proton. Secondly to provide free servicing for as long my vehicle is still covered under warranty as for the parts I may or may not get from Proton. This is to compensate me for all this hassle and time lost over this incident.

1. Make police report
2. If you're making claim against the other car, get the vehicle insurance information from JPJ (they can search via plate number)
3. Documents needed:
-->original police report
-->copy of ic
-->your car insurance certificate
-->JPJ search vehicle detail

4. Go to Proton Edar and talk to the person incharge of insurance claim and he will take care from there.

is persona selling well?
i mean from some newspaper say it's very saleable but then i hardly see any otr. even the new vios and new city can be spotted more easily. Thus, it makes me not so confident to get this car yet.

But anyway, the H line seems to offer a lot of features.

went to s&s, quote to polish my car at rm680, but have to make appointment first...

PPS is overhype. It will not prevent bird etching, tree sap n bla bla sticking on the paint...
