sure, many people will tell you "kit lens" suck but don't let them get you down. smile.gif

Added on January 10, 2008, 1:56 amI'd like to add. people will eventually progress from their kit lens as there are many better lens out there, but that doesn't mean kit lens can't produce nice images.

Never underestimate the kit lens! nod.gif though i yearn to replace it lol... after long considering im now eying on the 10-22mm. Because the 12-24 sigma doesnt accept filters, though there's a way to fix it but im tight on my budget lol.

And i just found out that at 22mm, the EFS 10-22mm can do portraits, no distortion at all smile.gif

Whenever it comes to photography, it is not the lens or body that you own but a matter of the skills that you have when capturing a certain image and also to possess the third eye.

I actually quite like the "Discovering My Father's Garden"; the composition is there and it looked really abstract with the touch of silkiness in the photograph. If the colour is a little bit contrasted, it'd be even better; IMO.

But anyway, well done goldfries.
