Hey guys, I wanna ask all the sifu2 here about 350D. My friend's 350D kinda funny actually, he told me that his dslr will come out error 99 and the shuttle sound will sound weird, after that the camera will stucked at there. But it works perfectly on auto modes. What happen ah?

Okay guys, I just did a walk around SgWang & Plaza LowYat to scout for 400D. Guess what, it's hard for me to choose now.
1. (sgwang) Tarita offers me standard kit, 55-200mm, bag, tripod, uv filter, cf mem card 2GB = RM3k 2. (plaza lowyat) 3C Cyberworld was straight forward, RM2.4k for standard kit, tripod, bag, 2GB ultra. 55-200mm = RM950 (Price yet to confirm) 3. (sgwang) Boeing Photo Sdn. Bhd. offer me the same kit as the first one but RM3.35k 4. (plaza lowyat) Canon shop offer me RM2.6k with extra batt. So... which one? |

QUOTE(valho @ Dec 30 2007, 12:14 AM) nice, the sky looks great Good question, I have no idea and does anyone has any idea should I get this lens or not?seems like tarita is the better deal doesn't it. how much they selling just the lens alone anyway Tarita said the price was RM490+ something but the other shop told me the II, it should be different and they are selling it at RM880, more than that I suppose. |

QUOTE(valho @ Dec 30 2007, 12:37 AM) hahah it's the street light plus some car at the side So how much is exactly 55-200mm lens? And is there any more types? Thanks for answering~tomolo i joining the photomalaysia street shoot, gonna be dead tired since it start at 8am. izzit the new ef-s lens ? that one is 55-250mm, the review for it was pretty good, but the price should be around 800-900 i think, there's an ef lens at 55-200mm though |

QUOTE(R a D ! c 4 L @ Dec 30 2007, 12:04 PM) QUOTE(NewKid @ Dec 30 2007, 12:10 PM) Seems hat the tarita is ok. 55-200mm price should be between RM800 and RM1000. with the lense u get kit 18-55 and 55-200mm, u get 55-200mm range. but bear in mind that the 18-200mm no IS. means u need tripod la kawan, each time u want to zoom or you need to have rock hands. ekkekekeke For now, I'll grab the kit first and slowly I'll grab the lense too if necessary go for 3c cyberworld. you get cheapest but with faster card. try to find a zoom lense with IS that your budget allows you to. like the 28-135mm that i have should be between RM1.6k to RM2k. Good pick? |

QUOTE(cjtune @ Dec 30 2007, 02:25 PM) Wise choice... don't grab too many things in the beginning. As you go along in photography, you may find the 55-200 is not suited for your style. Well, first I went to 3C, the girl offered me RM2.6k for 400D. But the second time I deal with other guy(he was busy), he quickly offered me RM2.45k which was pretty nice compare to others, and then I told him I'm buying 6 kits so I ask for discount, he said RM2.4k will do it, only 50 bucks different lolAlso, one particular tactic on unscrupulous merchants is to price the kit cheaply and then sucker you to buy accessories and lenses at inflated prices, with the cheap kits giving you the false impression that everything else from them must also be cheap. Try negotiating with the seller to see if there is an option to buy certain lenses that you'd like at a discounted price later -maybe a couple of weeks down the road. Get his name card to call him back to see if he remembers. This is the least he can do to get the business that he would have gotten had you bought the 55-200 or whatever lenses and accessories in one go. |
