Im bored mellow.gif went out and simply shoot right in front of my house... All in jpeg, not much editing, edited the contrast in photoshop and added watermark. Except for the black and white where i did a little editing. All at f1.8.

I had this problem where I usually smudge or dirtied the lcd anytime I used the vf. Any remedies for this coz it's getting annoying everytime need to wipe the lcd screen.

I experience that a lot too. But I solve the problem by putting the LCD brightness to full, then the dirt/smudge not so obvious. tongue.gif

are lens hoods important? does it affect the final picture much?

they are important at very bright area's they would help avoid lens flare.

no they won't, light is capture from the subject you are shooting, so you can practically keep the hood on all the time, except when shooting close-up, for close-up the hood shadow might fall on your subject

@wjie20~how much cheaper if bulk ?

here, kuala terengganu i can get rm359/pcs if bulk can get lower...maybe around rm300-350.
