VP in bank is just a department head, but department head should do what they suppose to do. ofcoz not the 2nd highest post in the bank, 2nd highest (if what u meant here is those one down of CEO) will be FVP or EVP.

My bank. Words is out that this year top bonus is 36 months.

5 years working..never received any bonuses from all companies i working for.

Work in Malaysia a listed company ....only gave me 1 month and my manager keep telling me this is the best company every year sure got bonus at least 1 month. I take bonus straight quit


After quit i went oversea. I just join this company last year

2011 - 3 months (damn sad and my manager ask me not to feel heavy hearted as he initally approve 7 months but management decided to cut to 3 months then he talk to the CEO and the CEO also wont approve)
2012 - 14 months (my manager still bising as he initally approve 15months then he sendiri give me angpow(he just put the cash USD in envelope i dunno how its call) during annual dinner for the another 1 month)

I've change 4 jobs after i graduate from Uni and this is the best manager i got throughout and i die die also wont leave this department and company. Anyway i'm working at oversea maybe angmo thinking different.

Texas Instruments Ampang = 2 months bonus

Texas Instruments Melaka = 2.25 months bonus

Every year same bonus, nor matter how the good/bad business/financial condition, as financial dept forecast the 2.x months bonus payout

into each fiscal labour cost into the financial budget.

Company : Top 3 local Bank
Year. : 2012
Position : Senior Officer (Middle Office)
Bonus. : 2months contractual + 4months performance = 6 months

Work in this company for almost 4 years since I graduated, first year get 1 week bonus (actually less then that)...
Then 2 weeks annually bonus for the pass 2 years..

I will feel damn happy if I can get 1 month for this time..

I am a senior programmer in a chinaman company in PJ state.
My brother said I am stupid for staying in this company for so long... as he think programmer should get more bonus compare with other kind of job.
