I get two offer from diference company.

First
Job Title : Electrical Engineer
Job Desciption : maintenance, installation, metering, development.
Years spent in company : just started
Company : Sabah electricity sdn bhd
Industry : utility
Tenure : permanent
Employment Level : under training (6 months)
Experience before joining : 2month in consultant firm
salary : RM 1000 (6 months) if employed RM 2200
working hrs: mon-fri (8.00a.m-5.00p.m)
allowance  : none
may be will posting to rural area
                 

Second
Job Title : Electrical or production engineer
Job Desciption : PLC programming ,to make sure smooth production routing.
Years spent in company : fresh
Company : big company produce steel product (MNC company) world wide company
Industry : production
Tenure : permanent
Employment Level : probation
Experience before joining : same as above
salary : RM 1800 3 to 6 month probation, after that will be offered 2 years contract.
working hrs: mon-fri (8.00a.m-5.30p.m)
                    sat      (8.00a.m-1.00p.m)
                  will have 12 hrs shift when there is production going on.
allowance : OT 1.5 per hour rate
                  with standard shift allowance

1.9k salary??!! Get away from that hell place!

Yea I know what you mean. My place also, thanks to our management indecisive outcome, our department are delayed to the last minute and we ended up involving the graphic designer to rush it through till morning. Gosh I always feel bad giving my creative design ppl last minute work cause I know how it feels to be rushed by people to meet datelines!

I think the job culture here in Malaysia is pretty screwed up and they are taking advantage on us small fries because they will give the "economy is unstable so you small fry needs us desperately so i'm gonna make u work like ur earning RM5k and if u dun like it, quit ur job but do u think u can find another job that pays you?" kinda attitude.

But seriously... 3 years experience.. u shuold be earning more... and with those late nights too. I really need to slow down my working life desperately..i miss my family and friends... 

If i were u i will take the second one la cos its a MNC so it helps enhance ur CV. Secondly, steel is in demand and it's the only thing so far that is still in hot deman despite credit crunch but at the end it's your interest lor....

lol girl.. u wouldnt want to know the market for graphic designers.. its so bad.. even freelancers are having trouble lol

as of know.. i have yet to find another place, dont say pay more...one that pays me the even same amount i'm getting now.. cant find one.. some of them even tried to bargain with me.. 'if we lower ur expected pay, will u accept our offer?' says the guy who i'm applied for the same expected salary as i'm getting now.. and i said to him 'sure, if u're gonna pay my car loans and utility bills'

salary : RM3.3k, company's car, petrol card, 5% sales commission and shares

my colleague just got an offer from competitor's company. his current salary is RM2500+RM300 allowance. me also got an offer from the same company (not yet confirm). the problems that me and my colleague thinking are the workplace is far from our house and feel like betraying our company. haha..

are u working for Leighton? i believe that any local companies cant give such high salary.

I'm lucky enough in this field. Rarely work on weekends.

I agreed with you, I almost work around 15-17 hrs per day, reason is 'just want to be an excellent programmer' for getting higher pay, of course programming also my hobby, it is interesting, changable, flexible.... many many...
