RACE SCHEDULE

Race will be held on Fridays. All time in +8 GMT.

Practice : 9.30 pm - 10 pm
Qualify : 10.00 pm - 10.15 pm - 1 flying lap
Warm Up : 10.15 pm - 10.25 pm
Race : 10.25 pm - 33 laps

Race distance will be 75 percent. Fuel usage and tyre wear will be normal.

WHAT YOU NEED TO JOIN MSR LEAGUE

1. rFactor game.
2. Steering wheel (Logitech MOMO, Logitech G25 etc etc).

HOW TO JOIN MSR LEAGUE

1. Buy rFactor game from : www.rfactor.net . The current price of the game is USD 39.90.
2. Read the current season rules at the current season thread.
3. Download the necessary mod and track files. The files can be downloaded from www.rfactorcentral.com. Registration (free) is required to download the files. Links to the files also available from www.malaysiansimracer.com and at the current season thread in this forum.
4. Select your car and send a pm to the league administrators.
5. The admin will then pm you the server name and password.
6. New drivers also required to pm their email address for our MSR newsletter.
7. Now you are set to go

yes. but only if you pass the files to everyone. But we dont encourage peeps to alter the F1 cars livery. but for personal use its okay. and helmets are okay too.

i see thank for da info, coz i saw some of the member car are without sponsors and all empty, and i didnt download their skin b4..just wondering.. looks cool hehe

Oh, that came with FSONE installer. Teams like Ferrari, Renault and tobacco sponsor teams have alternate skin they can choose. Like we, williams, are not sponsored by tobacco company

Salam buat semua. Hope can join the race tonight beside health seems still uncertain.

Kalau boleh tu meh ler kasi race setup yer....tak sempat practice these few days......keadaan tak mengizinkan.

I like to clarify a bit on our server.

As we all know or dont know , Madnoren is solely paying the bill monthly for our server. But due to other commitments, its hard for him to bear it on his own.

Season 2 was almost canceled because of the tight budget. From then on, Madnoren have to find ways to lease the line to pay for server rental.

So its then decided that the server will be up only on race day.

So, other than race day its Madnoren's courtesy to do so.

So, thank him for upping the server and if you can, donate.

Or do what pittqis and maranello did, hosting on their own for practice sessions.

Aku dah PM zero-g utk buat program macam VMS Client jadi MSR Client utk join server. Client nie macam relay tapi server install yg fix & MSR Client akan check & verify. Tunggu feedback dia.

Okay for next week race at Monaco, i know there will be a lot of cries of lag (display wise).

hey i just got a query, using such donation i don think will work out, if we got 20 person, everyone rm10 also 200 a month d. lets us all msr pay some contribution.. everyone can set auto debit every month to his account.

I had missed the announcement in previous thread pointing to this new thread.


Wahhhh, discovered Megane Trophy v2 last night.
Had to install rFactor update v1.255F on my other rFactor tester directory.
Coudn't stop racing until 5 am, 38 cars on track.
Even on Barcelona track which I now know quite well, I couldn't get my speed up to what a few leading cars were able to do. Felt like F1 in slow motion at first, maybe an advantage over drivers who never drive F1.

Going to ask my wife today how I can manage to transfer money to Madnoren for server costs. I can check on this side as well if maybe we can find lower rates in Bangkok, but that may not be a good idea speedwise for some of you, I dunno... Just an idea.

Im on SPA too! But the pit light is constantly red eventhough pit lane is open. We have to be careful and check at the monitor wether the session has started or not.

Cyborg...great idea.....(ive brought forward this idea before but to no avail). Wut the others think?

CAREFUL NOT TO EXIT ON RED!
Especially if you hurry to go out for quali.

I had great starts on both races, jumped ahead quickly at green and bye-o-bye, ran first way ahead for few laps

Then got disconnected or server booted.

Now I have no licences left for rFactor, seems when I alternate between 1.255f on D: and 1.250 on C:, I am asked to renew license every time...
Sent 'em email asking for more renewals.

The SPA on server was the one we conducted the test race before, i can't remember which one.
Plz continue testing the server on the line stability issue tonight.

Emailed Trymedia about getting more license renewals, gave them my original purchase info, etc. Still no answer.

I can still run 1.250, I m being asked for license on other install on D: 1.255F

I'm using TrySwapUtility.. u need to have both 1250 and 1255 license.
It won't work properly if you only have 1 type of license

330 is normal with race fuel....madnor constantly reach 340 just now also...but not with that wing! thats insane! maybe u can with that fuel load.

lol, very easy to make mistake with that speed (340), miss the braking point = overshoot, i think 330 more safe & start tweaking the other parameters.
