RACE SCHEDULE

Race will be held on Fridays. All time in +8 GMT.

Practice : 9.30 pm - 10 pm
Qualify : 10.00 pm - 10.15 pm - 1 flying lap
Warm Up : 10.15 pm - 10.25 pm
Race : 10.25 pm - 33 laps

Race distance will be 75 percent. Fuel usage and tyre wear will be normal.

WHAT YOU NEED TO JOIN MSR LEAGUE

1. rFactor game.
2. Steering wheel (Logitech MOMO, Logitech G25 etc etc).

HOW TO JOIN MSR LEAGUE

1. Buy rFactor game from : www.rfactor.net . The current price of the game is USD 39.90.
2. Read the current season rules at the current season thread.
3. Download the necessary mod and track files. The files can be downloaded from www.rfactorcentral.com. Registration (free) is required to download the files. Links to the files also available from www.malaysiansimracer.com and at the current season thread in this forum.
4. Select your car and send a pm to the league administrators.
5. The admin will then pm you the server name and password.
6. New drivers also required to pm their email address for our MSR newsletter.
7. Now you are set to go

yes. but only if you pass the files to everyone. But we dont encourage peeps to alter the F1 cars livery. but for personal use its okay. and helmets are okay too.

Oh, that came with FSONE installer. Teams like Ferrari, Renault and tobacco sponsor teams have alternate skin they can choose. Like we, williams, are not sponsored by tobacco company

Okay tested Barcelona track last nite, i have good speed at the straight, can reach 315 kmh.. but suffering understeer every corner

I like to clarify a bit on our server.

As we all know or dont know , Madnoren is solely paying the bill monthly for our server. But due to other commitments, its hard for him to bear it on his own.

Season 2 was almost canceled because of the tight budget. From then on, Madnoren have to find ways to lease the line to pay for server rental.

So its then decided that the server will be up only on race day.

So, other than race day its Madnoren's courtesy to do so.

So, thank him for upping the server and if you can, donate.

Or do what pittqis and maranello did, hosting on their own for practice sessions.

Okay for next week race at Monaco, i know there will be a lot of cries of lag (display wise).

So this is what i have in mind. Please vote only on these track :

LEAGUE ANNOUNCEMENT

Next week race will be at Spa. 33 laps. Currently using the test race track. I have downloaded the new spa as suggested and will give it a try.

Barcelona race will be held at the end of the season.

LEAGUE ANNOUNCEMENT

The league has decided that for this Friday race, we will use the current spa layout (SpaGTL).

The pitlane exit lights is still not working so :

1. During qualifying, you guys need to watch for the session clock to start before going out on track.

2. During race session, if you are starting from the pit, you need to let the grid goes by before exiting the pits.

the fearless maranello55 is still working to solve the pit lights problem.

XxThexxBestxX is allowed to race this Friday but he's not allowed to qualify. The ban for Barcelona race still stands.

Mr. Madnoren told us yesterday that we might not be able to race this Friday because the server's line is not yet stable. But please log in at the usual time this Friday.

And we might switch to 1.255F, so please keep your license renewal handy for this. We'll let you know when you can upgrade your rFactor.

Mr Madnoren has informed me, its confirmed that the server's line will continue having problem. So the belgian race will be postponed to the end of the season. The MSR server is down until further notice.

and i've said in the post before, right now admins are testing rFactor 1255F with FSONE. so have your rFactor renewals handy.

IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT

Guys, please update your rFactor to 1.255F. after the install, it will ask for reactivation, so keep your license info handy.

Since the server is not yet stable, mr. Madnoren has up a temp test server for our testing with the new 1.255F.

Okay, tonite definately no race, but server is up for rFactor 1255F testing. Server line is not stable yet, so be prepared to loose connection
