I had missed the announcement in previous thread pointing to this new thread.


Wahhhh, discovered Megane Trophy v2 last night.
Had to install rFactor update v1.255F on my other rFactor tester directory.
Coudn't stop racing until 5 am, 38 cars on track.
Even on Barcelona track which I now know quite well, I couldn't get my speed up to what a few leading cars were able to do. Felt like F1 in slow motion at first, maybe an advantage over drivers who never drive F1.

Going to ask my wife today how I can manage to transfer money to Madnoren for server costs. I can check on this side as well if maybe we can find lower rates in Bangkok, but that may not be a good idea speedwise for some of you, I dunno... Just an idea.

I m going to Spa!

I had great starts on both races, jumped ahead quickly at green and bye-o-bye, ran first way ahead for few laps

Then got disconnected or server booted.

Now I have no licences left for rFactor, seems when I alternate between 1.255f on D: and 1.250 on C:, I am asked to renew license every time...
Sent 'em email asking for more renewals.

Emailed Trymedia about getting more license renewals, gave them my original purchase info, etc. Still no answer.

I can still run 1.250, I m being asked for license on other install on D: 1.255F

Tempted to try the version swap utility.

Hmm hmmmm... Interesting, I have to leave the country every 90 days for my visa and I happened to think this week I should go to Malaysia for once instead of Singapore. I usually just fly out of here and right back in hours later but I could extend my stay.

My next run would be around Jan 19 and then another one on April 19st but I could make the run a month earlier then for a GP.

Agreed with 1st Spa corner, so tight. I ve been practicing starts with Ai and always start last, don't bother qualifying most times and do the first few laps with heavy traffic, then I restart the race, over and over.

Spa 1st corner must be the slowest corner of them all after start.

One day only would be too much of a rush, fly in, get there and fly back on the same day.

Two day tickets would be nice, I could even fly in on Friday evening, make the week-end a smooth and relaxing event.

Tried connecting to 1255f MSR server, I get time out, probably my connection or is set not to accept connections for now?

Gave 1255F Race Weekend a try at Silverstone, tried all my 1250 car setups , every single one had the car bottoming out badly (dragging onto the road) when used with 1255F. I have to learn more about suspension and advanced.

Correction.

I had fs one 1.8, that s why setups were useless.
