The new one recommended by pitt leave me with eyesore. And eau rouge where it's suppose to be the most interesting part of the track fail to deliver because of the shiny new tarmac and less bumps there. It spoils the fun. I rather have good tracks, I really don't need the lights. But be prepare to have a faultless race. All you need is to train a bit on race start procedures. Ha, I need to remind that first corner is very tight and please estimate the constantino effect correctly particularly the following cars. |

Everything was easy for me during first stint, I can almost control the pace, even had the boost tone down a step lower. But after the first pit stop, I realize that my brake travel becomes longer and longer until it snaps at the first turn. There I go, a passenger. 15 laps to go to my first win, but I guess it boils down to lack of long practice run and information on durability aspect of these cars.
So, hence my question, what is the safe temp for brakes for this car? Anyone had any idea?

Mara first of all, its the power of motec, it gives you information. I regret I didnt use any so far. I guess that determines a loser and a winner.
My brake bias was set at 55, at brake ducts 2. I was a heavy braker by nature. My brake strentgh was set at 100% and I like you carry the brake through turns (my setup didnt allow me to lift off the brakes too much otherwise it would upset the back balance of the car.). I think this is due to G25 hard springs, it's why I ended up 100%. When I use momo, I would setup the pressure at 80% due to faster brake travel.
Anyway, the brake snaps, and my car gone sideways and hit the wall at high speeds. When i exit the monitor, it tells me I got a brake failure, but the analyzer shows I got an accident. This is exactly what I suffer in Bahrain in test race if you remember.
I think different people drives differently, I used more brakes than anyone. Next time I think I better use more ducts and 2.8 front and 2.7 back size for durability.
Oh, another issue, my tv overlay gone missing during the race, so I have to get used to the lack of information, it takes time to adjust when I rely on it too much all the time.

As for the dispute that is currently going, I think it is BEST to just ignore because ignoring makes my life easier therefore longer. Mara where have you been?
