hey there, currently wanting to play some old games on ps3 , like ff8 and ff7. the playstation website says that the 40gb ps3 only can play certain ps one games and i was wondering if any1 ever tried playing ff7 or ff8 games on 40gb system

hi to all,juz got my PS3,original 2.3 version,successful connect to internet through wifi but cant log in to PlaystationNetworks to download demo games.The system required latest update.Is that normal?
Just found the lastest 2.42 in Playstation.com(this afternoon still V2.41).downloading now,should be no problem with the update through Pendrive,rite? thank u |

If they were to relaunch God of War 2 for PS3, that will be great too....

Well, enabling the PS Smoother and upscaling will make FFVII look in a way, better IMO. Atleast there aren't much jaggies. FFIX on the other hand, could actually look almost as good as any first-gen PS2 game! btw, i think there are only two versions ive seen on sale, the japanese one and the us version. which one is for me, as my console is japanese? thanks man~ |

PS1 games are region locked dude. So it ain't gonna work on your Jap PS3, since the region code is different.

gentlemens, i have ps3, firmware ver 2.30... i can connect to internet but not ps network. Both LAN and wireless. I tot it is the same thing... it drive me crazy... Do i have to update the firmware first??
