hi there, im gonna get my PS3 next week. one question, can the PS3 play ori DVD?? since i got collections of Indiana Jones, LOTR, etc series. I dun have any blu ray movies yet coz this is the first time i journey into bluray.

The console is better left laid down or standing position?

Cause I've a little trauma with my PS2..when I have disc inside while the console is in the standing position..scratches tend to appear on the disc..

How does this compare to the PS3? and which is the better recommendation?

PS: Thinking of leaving the PS3 standing due to lack to table space =P

Been trying to register/add funds to my US PSN account using Citibank Mastercard. Keeps on saying Credit Card info invalid.
Even Citibank called to confirm saying that it's ok on their side, but no go on PSN.
Street Address = My valid Malaysian address
City: Miami (in PSN account this was set as Petaling Jaya).
State: Florida
Postcode:A valid postcode from Miami (although diff from the one i signed up for the PSN account with)

hi to all,juz got my PS3,original 2.3 version,successful connect to internet through wifi but cant log in to PlaystationNetworks to download demo games.The system required latest update.Is that normal?

Just found the lastest 2.42 in Playstation.com(this afternoon still V2.41).downloading now,should be no problem with the update through Pendrive,rite?
