I've got a question. The Jap PS3s all do censor games with blood/gore isn't it? If so, does this apply to each of the PS3's SKU(40GB, 80GB, etc.)?

May sound a little stupid, but I'm a very big fan of gorefest. Also, anyone can confirm that any of the other Asian PS3s(HK/SGP) have censoring as well?

All I do know now is that only the US PS3s doesn't have any censorship.

Hmm I see. But I've read somewhere that the Taiwan PS3 also do have censorship. Haven't seen any comfirmation that HK/SGP sets have them or not, many says yes but then again there are who says there isn't.

So mafan.... Might as well just get US set.

Jeez, you can get a HDMI cable for the same price which is gold plated and 1.3a compliant.

All component cables can output 1080p, its the TV which can receive 1080p signals from the component cables or not. Gold plated or not doesn't matter, I wouldn't pay more than RM30 for a component cable.

Not without modding it of some sort. I saw some people using the eye as a webcam for their PC.

I too have the top up card, but with only $5 SGD but didn't bother to top it up as I don't think its able to buy anything with only a few bucks now is there?

I just had mine off after 32 hours turned on, no problems yet so far.

Well there is one though, it seems that whenever I download a demo and playing a game(in which case is DMC4) simultaneously, my PS3 tends to load quite a bit slower. And theres been an ocassion where it freezes even. However, if I turn off my downloads, everything works perfectly.

Anyone has this problem? Or is it just me?

No, that depends. Because there are several(or all) region sets of PS3 sold in Malaysia - as in Asia SGP, Asia Japan, US, etc.

The 40GB PS3 does not have the EE and GS(Emotion Engine/Graphics Synthesizer, CPU and GPU for the PS2) in it. So theres no way BC can happen on it. Only the 20GB, 60GB and 80GB models can. Even so, its about impossible to find a 20GB model sold new and its extremely difficult to find a 60GB brand new as well. Even 80GB is already starting to get rare.

Also practical bull that the PS3 lens gets spoiled fast when playing PS2 games.
