Anyone here with Hong Leong PB status but denied/rejected to get its VI ?
I encountered this issue.

I did, I dont have a payslip to proof my salary

Because of the ang pow packets, I also asked Ambank who's my new RM also as need to get the packets thru them, not at the branch


Once I move out my funds, I will just terminate the Premier Wealth status, as I can see it, it maybe the worst PB encountered so far among Ambank, SCB & Bank Rakyat

My new Ambank RM immediately offered to personally meet me to deliver the ang pow packets & asked me how many packets I wanted somemore, that is good service!

Big Towkay can issue own pay slip. Too many zeroes to contain in the slip ?

Confirmed to collect hampers on Monday from BR.

I never managed to get hampers from BR. How do you ask them? I asked the Xclusive hotline, they said they don't give so I'm thinking of calling up the branch level.



For BR Xclusive members,
This is roughly what I could catch over the phone for FD placement:
1. RM5k & above: pen
2. RM10k & above: towel
3. RM50k & above: flask
4. RM100k & above: trolley bag

To get it, call the hotline at 03-26173800, they will arrange & send the gifts to your respective branches.

U don't ask, they give it to u !

From what I know, the branch will draw up a list based on the amt a depositor has with the branch. Then based on their budget, they will say no. 1 to no. 20 depositors will get the gift.

So Xclusive members may not get it if there are too many heavy weights in the same branch. That is what I think.

I was shown a list by the ABM few years ago.

Was at my branch to update my passbook and casually asked if there is any cny gift. Was just given a tiny hamper with egg rolls inside

Actually in terms of value, depending on the branch, may not amount to much. It is the thought that counts !

Another finance institution that gives CNY gift/hamper is MBSB. Still waiting for their confirmation.

Yes, reason being no proof of income. Fine, so i pledge FD to secure a VI. That is it says only entitled for a platinum. Fine, i tell them to proceed. Then they said , need proof of salary bank in.
Then I pledge certain sum of FD with Maybank to get Premier 2. No questions ask for salary slip or phone call. Nothing. Then it approved within a week.

If you are their priority customer, then should challenge them on their basis of rejecting the VI card
