Yesterday was in CIMB to change new notes. One LONG queue line just for changing new notes. Went to see the CIMB BM who is still with a customer. She came out to get me a Preferred queue number and asked me to see her if RM100 new notes ran out.

Yes it did. The counter girl said RM100 ran out already and not sure if the BM "hide" any new RM100 notes ! Yes, she did, the BM got me the new RM100 notes and gave me stacks of Preferred ang pao packets.

This is one of the times that Preferred membership helps.

OCBC RM called to collect ang pao packets. Just stop the car outside (illegally ) and she came out to pass me the ang pao packet. She said the Premier banking ang pao is imported.

I think will skip CB's one. Have not been impressed with their Citigold ang pao packets in last few years.

Boss, if you have SG priority banking, they can post the packets to their KL branch or to you. The quality is amazing. Even CIMB SG has better packets than Malaysia ones

p/s: Of course I don't have SG priority banking, my friend gave some to me only

There is for Maybank but seems to be limited. Got only 1 miserable packet and looks like the normal ang pow, only better paper quality, need to get from the RM somemore

I only got one pack from OCBC, didn't check the envelope content earlier, it was thick. Mana tahu the rest all normal ones.

Anyone know whether BR has any angpow for Xclusive members? And talking about BR, still no news on hamper or gifts.

My OCBC leng lui RM gave me 2 Premier angpow packets and 3 normal ones.

Lazy to collect from UOB, CB, AmBank, HL, RHB PB red packets. Anyone received from them and nice for PB or normal ones ?

Still nego with BR on the FD due on Monday. Will see if any hamper or not. But it is branch related. Share here if u got news.

The OCBC leng lui claim that the PB angpao is imported, so limited. Gave 2 packs in a small carrier bag plus 3 normal ones. Did not take a look until back at home. No need to go inside just wait in a car outside OCBC. Good service !

HSBC PB SG angpao packet nice bo?

Tell me about it! Last time the Maybank RM was trying to convince me to join Premier Wealth & I asked if there is any appreciation dinner, he said got. Now joined already ask him again he said only for investors investing RM500k & above!
I also saw some old aunty & uncle getting CNY paper bags but I lazy to ask, sure he will say for investors.

The ang pow packet for premier wealth is nothing special but make it like so exclusive & can only give 1 packet..


Ambank PB seems the nicest so far, maybe cos lots of gold on it & is much nicer than Maybank's & no other PB ang pows to compare with .

I asked BR they said they don't give CNY ang pow packets, let me ask Xclusive & see.

BR one I think past 2 and 3 years ago they gave me but design NG so ended up waste recycling and gave to rubbish collector when they asked for angpow. Last year probably did not ask or get it. Nothing for Xclusive angpow packet I think.

Oh, will try to get AmBank PB packet but no RM (resigned) so ask BM and see.

Found one old pack of BR angpow. But not sure how long ago. So they do give angpow packet.

Each branch has their own budget and buy different "gifts". Unless there are others putting in more than us, we can still get the gifts.
