ahhh, found it thank you, i must share thiz

"I have Privilege Banking status with UOB Bank and Alliance Bank, Premier Banking status with OCBC Bank and RHB Bank, Priority Banking status with Hong Leong Bank and Premier Wealth Banking with Maybank. And why did I sign up for the PB status with these banks? Well, it is because I will not be penalized a sen should my Assets Under Management (AUM) with these banks fall below the requirement to be eligible for PB status." (GenX, 2015)

All other banks charge penalty if AUM falls below the PB requirement?

Yes, reason being no proof of income. Fine, so i pledge FD to secure a VI. That is it says only entitled for a platinum. Fine, i tell them to proceed. Then they said , need proof of salary bank in.
Then  I pledge certain sum of FD  with Maybank to get Premier 2. No questions ask for salary slip or phone call. Nothing. Then it approved within a week.

If you are their priority customer, then should challenge them on their basis of rejecting the VI card

i thought the same too, the card came automatically with the premiere account, but not the case. Long long ago when first become premiere when i was still working i rejected the card simply too many cards at that time. Now after retire, knowing that card come with free lounge usage I would like to apply for the card, but ask to show income tax pulak, retiree don't have much tax to pay lah so not qualify. Yup don't look down on uncle with shorts and slipper, they can surprise you.

Access to which lounge ?

we were talking about getting the card automatically without proof of income

Understood, if the card is mainly for accessing the lounge, then there are many alternatives. Unless there are other benefits ?

Out of curiousity, which banks have the hottest female relationship managers in Priority Banking?

Ever heard of RMs who are willing to go the "extra mile"?

QUOTE(icemanfx @ May 20 2017, 11:15 PM)
Except novice, rm have seen enough people with $, won't be impressed with people only qualified for priority banking unless one could spend 5 or 6 digits sum on gifts first time and every time. Beside, their basic salary is reasonable and need not to go extra mile.

What extra mile?

Haha, as far as I can remember I do not pay annual fee for cc. Maybe Amex long time ago for few years. I do remember threatening to cancel cc years ago. When we do that, most of the time bank would waive the annual fees.

Have been using CB cc for free due to being Citigold customer.

Mind to share what Citibank credit card (eg CB prestige?) allowed annual fee waiver and any condition for waiver?
