i thought you must spend above RM80k on either VI or Reserve in order to get annual fee waived? I couldn't find it saying that if reserve need spend RM100k combined.

My bad, got mixed up

Yeah, it is RM80k, not RM100k

Couldn't say - I use HSBC + Maybank - haven't found either particularly useful.

Other than skipping queues in Maybank branches

It depends on the RM. Most customers will follow the RM when RM move from one bank to another.

Even if one person say X-Bank service very good this that, but if the branch that I go to, the RM does not do a good job, then you don't get good service.

All RMs aim to sell investment products, mostly unit trusts, to customers.

Should only sign for Premier Banking if you know how to say the word NO, NO and NO. RM will try to sell you lots of investment / savings product.

I really regret introducing a few relatives of mine to Premier Banking.

Now, some banks will considered you as priority when you got rm 1m or more worth of loans tied up with them..

no need hard cash of 200 to 250k...

And for maybank.. is even ridiculous.

all you need is 10k or more FD. And pay annual fees of rm800 to enjoy similar services as priority banking..

looks like priority is going to be common banking soon

May I know if any of the priority banking helps us to open a foreign account? Not a foreign currency deposit account but a savings account in a foreign country e.g. savings account with UOB Singapore opened here at Malaysia branch.

Try ask hsbc. I did my foreign account through local branch. I don't remember the procedure. Just go to the bank and ask for help.
