QUOTE(Lcclcc @ Mar 26 2019, 10:31 PM) What is the benefits of premier banking in obtaining loan? Heard of HSBC documents waiver package, No income document required, just to proof your nett worth more than 1Million in EPF/Saving/Properties/Shares and will grant you an approval for property loan of 60% (40% downpayment). What about others bank. Really? Regardless of age? If so, unker's finger itchy to buy some props again dah

What are the differences between these banks anyways? From what I see on their websites, the benefits are really similar. Free carpark slots...

I made an inquiry about UOB PB recently and was told that the min deposit requirement is RM500k but this is only for a single account name. If it is a joint account, the min deposit requirement is RM1mil. This is pretty odd comparing with other banks' practice, also noting that one would prefer to have a joint account for some reasons. Can any member verify this?

Any reason why UOB Privilege is 500k? Anything extra or more added value services compared to others, or are they just being more selective?

AUM in this country is among if not the lowest in the region. It is a matter of time, foreign banks will rise minimum aum. This post has been edited by icemanfx: Jun 9 2019, 11:09 PM

Is bank statement not payslip. Somemore today they have the protest at their branch, no idea whther will affect my account or not Regarding the HSBC Premier credit card, that’s because the bank is required to comply with the RM36k annual income rule from Bank Negara which has been in effect for many years, which for your information, HSBC did not strictly follow until about 3 years ago. However, as I mentioned, it is all about complying with the RM36k annual income ruling. Many HSBC Premier customers do not seem to be aware of this, it is very likely their RM are either new and still not aware or simply did not know about this, that HSBC is actually still issuing complimentary HSBC Premier World MasterCard to eligible clients without proof of income. All you need is to put at least RM1 million in time deposit with HSBC. Time deposits in another banks don’t count as HSBC is unable to verify the authenticity of the time deposit accounts at another banks. This post has been edited by MilesAndMore: Jun 10 2019, 02:56 AM

Standard Chartered Singapore.. it also allows me to trade with no minimum brokerage fee across all Developed Markets, so I can reinvest small chunks of dividends nicely without worrying about minimum fees.

I am an existing Ambank Priority Banking customer but since last month, I moved most of my funds to another bank and current balance with Ambank is less than 200k. If I were to apply a supplementary PB world master card for my family now, how likely that it will be approved since I should not be a PB customer now by definition?
