dgrebel: Don't be so naive boy. You're perhaps one of the lucky ones. TMNET's bad reputation and customer service doesn't come without a reason. People here are telling their experiences and you call that kopitiam talk?

ya..tmnut well known reputation(mostly bad) isnt new ler...
most ppl shouting out their experience so that 1day tmnut MIGHT improve...

If you wanna go tmpoint again, find a time with alot of customer.
Why? Bacause when you shooting at the staff, they will know how sucks tm is and maybe will cancel the registration of screamyx for who ready to apply at that day.............xD

now is 15nov, 8.57am...
my accout still under 512k speed...
i already fed up...

call 100 again just now and they say they report already, giv me a report number ask me call back 2 day after this if still not yet upgrade...
ask them y need 2 days... they say they need to check...
check whether my configuration got wrong or not...

she even told me upgrade already...=.=
then i tell her about last day i already call 100 for 4 times bla bla bla only she say she go report...


sigh...

i think i should go tm point to solve this...

everything must have a reason to it. sometimes your house RJ11 socket dont have enuff voltage to drive the broadband signal to your computer. that happens to my house coz we have 5 phones connected to different ports. all are connected to a splitter to separate the adsl from phone line.

i'm not saying i'm lucky, but people here should ask from technical perspective rather than pure bashing.

ok, i agree they have very bad customer relationship, i myself (who already troubleshoot everything) are required to follow those steps provided by their tech support eventhough i've explained my part well with my own diagnose. happen that their technicians are better knowing than me, provided they have the tools for that purpose. they work very fast and very detail, i even learnt sumthing from them. and yet after one to another, they got calls like every other minutes from different customers.

so, i guess such a big company would have some difficulties in the number of technical experties which i deem it's very professional for them to work all out just for the satisfaction of their customers.

i'm not backing up streamyx, but they are wage-earners like us too. and the problem doesnt necessarily come from them, sumtimes electrical problem may affect the connection stream.

You are the very lucky one.
For me I didn't believe customer service on 100.

Call them, asking why my dsl still don't have light yet, they said already installed port for me and said maybe line problem...=.=
I called 5 times, same answer.

Until I called telekom technician, they assign a technician come to my house.
Then guess what they said?
Port sudah penuh, kena cari port lain......................=.=ll
At that time I really wanna fkup with them......................
Then they quicky find a new port and installed for me...............

I only believe the "real" technician, the customer service on 100 is sucks and moron!!
They're cheating to the customer, no port said got port.
Their port got problem said my port got problem.
Until technician comes, he said it's dslam problem......................=.=ll
So, do you think their customer service giving a "real" and "professional" answer?
They just follow the guideline, they don't know anything, just know how to making story aroung and cheating skill..............
Now each I having problem, I just call the telekom and ask them to assign a technician for me.................
I guest the technician also know me very well dy...............^^ll


For friend who having sucks connection, just call telekom from your area.
Try to get the phone number of telekom in your city/state, don't call 100, it's useless and helpless.
For me, 100 is the number for listen to "interesting" story and wasting your time only............

they say in system my account is already change to 1M package...say is technician there not yet configurating my account...

Mine even worse, those "technicians" that come, I don't even think they are technicians. One time 2 of these "technicians" came on a really rundown motorcycle. At first I was wondering why need 2? But I didn't really care. Then they came in and started doing their thing, except that they were doign it like don't know what they were doing and had this "trance" look in their eyes as though trying to remember what they memorised.. talk also as though no confidence, didn't use much of technical terms. I think I also know more about them.

Yes, ask them to give you the telekom phone number that at your area.

Example like me, I'm staying at Kuantan, so I'll called the telekom kuantan center..............

what i'm thinking is the customer service's staff over there is always telling lie and cover something.

as i'm last time call them asking why my line always dc and cant reconnect back in a short of period.then the girl there tell a lot of rubbish like connect the line to modem directly to modem and try to reconnect using my router, then the line can be use again and never made any adjustment on it~

Sometimes i think tat, this company only will do their job after u complain.what a worst worst worst service provider.sweat.gif

Go complaint it over MCMC or CFM, after it they will fix your problem as soon as possible. You complaint over them better than you call those noob, just do it don't wait anymore.

I didn't get any call from MCMC but i do get a call from CFM, anyway they won't talk like "Pro" but they will help you settle your case, it really usefull. If you guys fed up with those noob and they ignore fix for you or talk lots of rubbish it's time you guys call/mail them up. Last time i mail them then within 1 or 2 days those noob fixed my problem, those noob just scare of MCMC and CFM. When they get presure from them they sure will fix your problem as soon as possible. laugh.gif

Certainly everything must have a reason. You speaking up for TMNET also must have its reasons. That's probably a positive experience you had. I'd say, let the statistics speak for itself here. A lot are talking about their problems and experiences.

Such a big company, such terrible backbone. There are larger companies in this world, with better backbone, customer service although I can't really name one. I'm positive of it.

Their diagnosis steps are often ridiculous honestly. Such as ipconfig /flushdns (what if you disable dns client?) and to turn off the modem for sometimes. There are a lot of ridiculous crazy shit I've heard from them while talking to their support. I'm sure I'm not alone.

Good to hear your experience though, you must have had an electrical problem. I don't suppose this electrical problem can apply to even most people here in this thread.

Speaking of which, my line at the moment is very stable, I've been connected up to 60 days, although lately I've been getting crap speeds and 400ms to local servers. I don't think this is an electrical problem, but they must be doing something on their end. Many times, their so-called upgrade is suppose to give us better performance. But, at the end of it, since the early days, I've never once actually 'felt' an upgrade, more like a downgrade.

Quite sad we actually have naive people in the tmnet bandwagon, clueless about majority of cases.

Actually those things can be done by half day.
Like last time my case, no port installed for me yet.
But when technician comes, they done in half an hour....................

Must give presure to them, if not they just mimum kopi all the time.....

so, what should i do? call 100 or what? hope can get solution. i've read everything. im impressed with ppl who go directly to tmpoint n get the problem solved. am i hv to do the same thing? opinion~~~

Hello guys/gils,

I personally do this...

1- Call 100 (logged report)...
2- If not solve ---> go to TM Point (also remember ask the technician in-charge at your area phone/Hp no. Do it only for the first time, you can skip this in future)
3- Still not solve ---> call the technician (who in-charge in your area),tell them your problem being pending for very long time .... and need icon_question.gif A.S.A.P...
4- Still problem ---> I never did this before but you can complaint to MCMC / CFM like what warez did... rclxms.gif
good luck...

ps- my worst (previous) problems got solved within 2-3 days only...(touch wood) whistling.gif
