They lend you 0.005 MYR for one day, then deduct it from the next day, hopefully not charging you any overnight interest
Hmm... BNM has no rules for counterparty risk like this?

Then this sort of confirms my suspicions that magic numbers might not work at all.. Cause they go by residual balance..
So if Day 1 (60.84 x 3% /365 = 0.005 = 0.01 interest) gets rounded up.. Your balance now becomes -0.005 actually..
Then Day 2 (60.85 x 3% /365 = 0.005 + (-0.005)= 0.00 interest) it doesn't get rounded up and no interest earned on day 2.
And on Day 3 it will follow Day 1 again and the process starts all over..
What I'm surprised by this is that Ryt choose to "upfront" you the first round up..
wow exactly like what I said then, that Ryt upfronts you the first round up on Day 1.. Other ewallets or banks usually on Day 2 only we will get the 1 cent.So if Day 1 (60.84 x 3% /365 = 0.005 = 0.01 interest) gets rounded up.. Your balance now becomes -0.005 actually..
Then Day 2 (60.85 x 3% /365 = 0.005 + (-0.005)= 0.00 interest) it doesn't get rounded up and no interest earned on day 2.

anyway for those who had pockets already dont so fast close first. Yesterday is the 2nd day and didn't receive the round up right.. Means today is the 3rd day and will be receiving the round up again.. So leave it for today, close it or transfer all to 1 pocket tomorrow onward.
For those of you who yesterday is Day 1, then today can close/transfer all into 1 pocket.
