does the debit card got annual renewal fee like other bank?

Last time I open maybank I got inform them to limit my atm withdrawal hence no debit card renewal fee, but not for my alliance bank and cimb bank

Got, just bring the ryt debit card will do as no ATM withdrawal fee

just got my ryt debit card recently

then use it on maybank atm machine, it shows need RM1 transaction fee
then I cancel already

I thought is FOC on any atm machine whenever withdraw money?

or should just ignore the message on atm machine whenever show RM1 transaction fee?
