 Landlord want to increase rent, Apa pun increase, but salary still low

I doubt the rental market is that good that it jumps from 1k to 1.7k. But don't give in to that landlord. Just move to a cheaper place.

ok this is difficult so after rent uncle only has like < 1500 to survive for the whole month
what are your expenses?

drive or motor?
how much spent on food?
if you smoke, better to stop.
how much saving per month?

Has uncle considered freelance gigs, upwork, freelance on carousell etc.

Uncle has some really useful skills: indesign, illustrator, photoshop, some artificial intelligent like face swapping, stable diffusion

also, I think Uncle better apply job elsewhere to get salary increment, no point staying with same company if no increment.

also if uncle has time on weekend, try to apply for promoter kind of part time job extra RM800 - RM1000 also can, just as long as can create additional income

1. No drive or motor, main transport is lrt and mrt, emergency use grab
2. Only eat outside during workday lunch time, around RM50 + abit, wallet always standby RM100, night and weekend cook myself also within RM100
3. No smoke or drink alcohol
4. I save as much as possible, recently debit card kena unauthorized transaction also, lucky I didnt put a lot of money in bank, only leftover of grocery money, can save a few hundreds for emergency

Unker design bukan super wow type, quite hard to get job, unker got trigger type depression, long story short my mum force me marriage to random til I almost suicide 1 year before mco, tat year I pray hoping I got reason not to go back hometown during cny and covid came.
Unker also got jobless for few years so got phobia of losing job, previous got work freelance as manga assistant, handle 2 episode a month (total 48 pages - ea episode 24 pages) rushing sleepless night and only earn RM760, then the sensei listen to one side story from another japanese assistant say I cincai do, then lose job. Then do WFH for a johor print shop, quit also after the crazy boss want us to compensate if got do wrong design at msrp (not cost)

If got, I definitely will do lo, mostly I ask is required on sat and sun, sat I work half day somemore. If ktards willing let unker do design job, please find me also lo

You every year pay rent after 20 years you get back nothing.

If you got own poteti, after 20 years you not only got your own place to stay you also got the unit. No need to get chase around, if good price can cash out your investment somemore.

My rent haven’t increase in 10 years. Oh wait I own the property lol.

If the rent increase is too steep then just move out and find another to rent. The argument that rent people always use is they can move to wherever they want right? I’m pretty sure those that say it are people that plan to move overseas or young folk that haven’t get sick of the moving around feeling yet.

First property high rise apartment paid 1.3k. Now staying in second property landed house 3.3k. Price is high however is comfortable.

1 as office, another as workshop....
Workshop just move into after mco I think....
And now the owner suddenly say want take back....
Early got news owner want increase rent to 2k....
But my boss reject la...
Maybe now just a move to force my boss accept the rent up lol...
