In Malaysia’s car-centric culture, parking is a necessity. Many upper-middle-class families own multiple vehicles, and DaMai addresses this with up to six carparks per unit. More importantly, these are located right at the doorstep, eliminating reliance on lifts and making daily routines far more convenient, especially for families with children, elderly parents or bulky items to carry.

This layout also enhances security. With a single entry point and centralised visitor parking on Level 1, resident levels experience reduced traffic and improved control - offering both privacy and peace of mind.

SDB is also renowned for designing homes that go beyond the ordinary - especially when it comes to safety. Known for pioneering earthquake-resistant buildings in Malaysia, SDB has taken things even further with DaMai.

Nowadays why so jam????

6am so many people walk the bridge

SINGAPORE - From Sept 15 (Monday) , the first buses leaving the Johor Bahru checkpoint for Woodlands on weekdays will start their services earlier at 4.50am, to help tackle early morning traffic at the Causeway.

These services include the SMRT-operated service 950 bound for Woodlands, as well as services 160, 170 and 170X run by SBS Transit.

The adjusted times will be 10 minutes earlier than the current start time of 5am on weekdays, said the two transport operators.

Malaysia requested that cross-border buses depart 60 minutes earlier, and Singapore has adjusted the schedule by 10 minutes earlier on weekdays.

While this does not fully match Malaysia’s request, it still represents a step towards easing the weekday commute for passengers.

Since the change applies only on weekdays, it should not be an issue for shift workers on Saturdays and Sundays, as there are usually fewer commuters at 5am on those days.

While this is far from Malaysia’s request, it can still be seen as a “meaningful step” — at least for the 1% of commuters who might benefit from those precious extra 10 minutes.

Malaysia requested that cross-border bus services start an hour earlier at 4am to ease the morning peak at the Johor checkpoint. After nearly 3 months of study and discussion, Singapore’s Land Transport Authority announced that buses on weekdays will start just 10 minutes earlier.

While this falls well short of Malaysia’s request, it can at least be seen as “a small step forward.”

Malaysian authorities requested that Singapore start cross-border bus services an hour earlier, from 4am, to ease the morning peak at the Johor checkpoint. The Land Transport Authority (LTA) is studying the matter with local transport operators, but some private operators have stated that they are unable to meet the request.

On Sunday (August 3), the LTA confirmed that the Malaysian Land Transport Authority submitted the request on June 17, hoping that cross-border bus services could start operating from 4am.

SINGAPORE: A pay dispute involving bus drivers for a Malaysian firm that ply the Johor-Singapore Causeway led to a protest on Monday (Jul 21) morning that affected thousands of commuters who were making their way to Singapore.

Malaysian media reported that some 100 drivers went on strike, leaving commuters temporarily stranded at Johor’s Bangunan Sultan Iskandar (BSI) Customs, Immigration and Quarantine complex.

5-6 years back I think it was the right time to go into this particular area (when the launch of Twin Tower Residence & Veranda Residence, the chinese developer back then is also selling at a ridiculous price as well lol).I personally think the market there is FOMO now. Delusional price. For that psf why not get something equal or maybe even cheaper in KL with better rental return?
