from the review, can tell iphone 17 actually has exactly same processor in the SoC like iphone Air, with has 5 GPU. Only difference is that Air SoC has 12GB ram instead of 8GB thus has the A19 Pro chip name.

Looking at the geekbench socre, actually the scores are similar, in fact sometimes 17 may score slightly higher maybe due to the better heat dispersion.

Phone battery normally will be good when its new , but smaller capacity battery will be pain after the battery health start drop , will feel big different. And dont forgot those youtube battery test dont install ALL the app u using everyday , when u really install all the app u needed , and the amount of notification u receive everyday might impact to the battery life too , and we dont know the other iPhone 16 series they use to test on the video is new unit or a year b4 unit? It need to be all new unit to have a more accurate test in my opinion.

Watch alot of those battery life battle on youtube , sometime in the real world it might be different story

ultimately it is individual preference anyway.

ultimately whoever has concern over battery can eliminate Air from the choice in the first place.
Same goes to single camera, single speaker, usb 2.0 etc.

those who are interested in Air will welcome to see the promising test at least.

Iphone 17 of course. Im sure you can get a unit at any of the resellers or apple store if you are not too picky about the colour and storage. There is enough stocks for everyone.

Get Pro? Won’t have regrets with heat with the VP. It’s a good alt to the base 17.

also.. i think there are some companies doing those installment BNPL thing at their own rates. i remember seeing it on FB, many people with no credit score used those service, after 2 years macam paying for 2x device.

Sometimes 3 months, sometimes 6 months. I do use BNPL 1 month 0% for my other transactions and earn cash back when I pay back to BNPL. So not all BNPLs are bad.

for smaller transactions yeah, BNPLs are good. heck, even shopeefood i use BNPL 0%. small purchases like RM40 if got 6 months 0% i'll just use it also.

but the public are generally illiterate financially, it can be very addictive since it's not using own card's limit.
