QUOTE(gnc88 @ Nov 8 2024, 09:50 AM) No. KSL items are not any cheaper compare to SouthKey. It's due to it's close proximity to causeway and the fact it has a hotel/apartment above. With so many people staying there, it's bound to be packed. But I dislike KSL. Find it messy and the last time I was there, the basement carpark rek of sewage smell. SouthKey is the best in terms of atmosphere. However, once I got caught in jam exiting carpark due to highway jam leading to Pasir Gudang. Folks simply refuses to give way. Paradigm is getting better but the carpark structure sucks. QUOTE(plouffle0789 @ Nov 8 2024, 09:50 AM) QUOTE(mushigen @ Nov 8 2024, 09:59 AM) Lots of Sinkies stay and shop there. The Lotus's is always packed like sardines. I see, so the strategic location plays a big part here. I was thinking what is so special with this KSL mall which was open in 2010 (am I right?) and still standing despite a lot of new shopping malls keep opening up.Got many makan places in and outside the mall. Monday night got pasar malam. There's a bus that takes shoppers to ciq for RM1.50. I stayed in the hotel quite a few times before. |

Yup, strategic location and reasonable room rates (RM180 for weekdays). You practically don't have to leave the building to buy almost anything. KevProp liked this post

Like I always say, Malaysia must have the balls to build 100 fully-manned customs lanes to suck dry Singapore domestic consumption worth hundreds of billions of dollars every year.
How many loaves of bread or how many rolls of toilet paper can Singapore consume? Why 33 million Malaysia scared of 6 million Singapore |

Well, at this rate, Johor could build the lanes and still have enough room for 10 shopping mall, 10 theme park, and even a new LRT/MRT line at jb or gelang patah area to handle all the 'Singaporean tourists'!How many loaves of bread or how many rolls of toilet paper can Singapore consume? QUOTE(plouffle0789 @ Nov 8 2024, 10:59 AM) Is this level from the JB customs direction? Kind of. Since they exit SG to EDL directly, it is the most logical way that they will enter MV directly when they exit EDL to the elevated circle lanes, into gate 4. Cause gate 4 is not on the ground level. (there is a lane that go to the basement parking at the same EDL exit mentioned here which is nearer than gate 4, but i guess SG ppl prefer to see sky). Can you see that almost all the cars in the car park on this level have Singapore license plates? But then, during weekend, it is also very likely to see 4 to 5 sg plats, out of 10 in basement parking.3 This post has been edited by Blackscreamerz: Nov 8 2024, 11:07 AM |

QUOTE(plouffle0789 @ Nov 8 2024, 10:37 AM) I often spend at least 30 minutes looking for a parking space in Paradigm Mall JB. There are ample of space at the basement, i always skip the upper levels and go straight for basement. Never spent more than 10 mins securing a spot, sometimes if lucky, can get one right in-front of homepro.Usually, only level 3 has available spaces. Levels UG, G, 1, and 2 are usually full. I think their parking spaces less than 2000. The Hyatt Place Hotel is open now, and they share parking with the mall, right? |

Then we can talk about 1S$ = RM 2 ![]() QUOTE The citizen population inched up 0.7 per cent to 3.64 million in June 2024 compared with a year earlier, while the permanent resident (PR) population grew 1.2 per cent to 544,900 over the same period. The non-resident population rose 5 per cent to 1.86 million, with the increase seen across most work pass types, said the publication. Work permit holders contributed the most to the increase, followed by migrant domestic workers. There were approximately 269 thousand (0.269 millions) foreigners employed as migrant domestic workers (MDWs) in Singapore. Singapore’s population of 6.04 million includes not only citizens and PRs but also all work pass holders, domestic helpers, and construction workers. The total number of Singapore citizens and permanent residents is just 4,184,900. 4.18 millions only. Other than that, 1.82 million people are work pass holders or LTVP. Not all of them will travel to Malaysia, even if we had 100 manual customs counters. Many high-income individuals (T20) in Singapore are concerned about safety and would avoid visiting Malaysia, even if offered a free five-night stay at Renaissance Hotel Permas Jaya, free petrol, or money.
