It's a japan set. Not the US Wii I believe. It should be at the shop (forgot the name) near to the Thai foot massage area. Btw for Xbox 360 I believe GameMonster is slightly cheaper. Was quoted RM 1799 a couple of weeks ago.

Hi all,

Recently when I read a newspaper, I found these tiny advertisement/classifieds that shows Malaysia are selling "Wi/Vi" with "Wi/Vi Sports" included for RM199. I saw such stuffs previously in a China's website and I cannot believe it had comes into our market officially. shocking.gif

Now, for me, I am really, really annoyed with these immitation goods. How come Nintendo don't want to have some actions on such immitations? Clearly there will be people that get cheated or at least get attracted by the prices.

What do you guys think? Are you guys support the originals all the way or you will cough some a bit of your money to try the fake Wi/Vi?

Thank you.

I bought my PSP there too. Well, judging from the amount of people buying stuff from ACE, I think I am pretty confident about their "integrity". Anyway, I still made a lot of checking, like the serial number and the console overall look etc.

No matter how good the refurbishment is, they bound to have some issues, like the color falling off, there are tiny scartches (which shouldn't have in brand new system) and the grease. Grease is one of the most obvious proof of refurbished system as it is nearly impossible to be wipe off completely.

Shamsul,

How long did they give you the warranty for your x box 360?

Thank you.

I have a very good customer experience in Game Tech, BJC. ok, first, i hv no any relation to the gameshop.

I was looking for PSP and heard some good feedback about ACE (Perangin Mall) and GameTech (BJC). So, I called the boss from ACE, Hin, and asked for the PSP full set (with 4GB non-original memory) price, it is RM750.

Since I am located at Bayan Lepas, so I visited GameTech in BJC. There are two GameTech in BJC, same floor (1st floor). One is above the A&W and another one (which I went to) is near the handphone stalls. There are 1 young guy and 1 young lady.

When I reached there, a polite salesgirl approached me. Asked for the price and it was RM699, I was shocked and surprised because this is the cheapest price i can get). Asked every details and she slowly explained to me:

The package included screen protector, USB cable, 4BG memory and 1 time full load of games. 1 month warranty and 1 year free service charge (not including upgrading firmware)

The difference is, no pouch (which is about RM20-30) included. When I asked the memory is original or not, she honestly told me is not original one. So after few second thoughts, I decided to buy from them. Add an original pouch, RM30. So total is RM699+ RM30, around RM730.

It takes some time for them to save the games I selected. So they asked me to come back in 10-20 mins. So i went and shop around, look for an original memory stick pro duo 4G, so lucky, found one at camera shop, located at group floor, RM120.

So, with the new memory stick, i went to the shop and politely asked whether they can load additional games to the new memory stick or not. They called their boss and he said OK! When I asked, they NOT even giv me any bad face.. I am very impressed with their customer service.

After they finished loading the game, they explained to me on how to use the PSP, etc...

So, GAME TECH is highly recommended. Hopes you have another good alternative when wanted to buy game stuffs. Now, they are doing promotion on PSP, if you want to buy now, go there and take a look.

DO NOT ( I say again, DO NOT) go to Mario, which located at ground floor, they are damn "lansi".

Just to share my personal experience.

ACE,

it's their after sales service that makes me down. and the boss. that's all. for PSP i think it should not be a problem.. parent go buy for their kids, sure they serve u politely. but for other high end console such as ps3 or xbox360 where u go buy urself, hurm.. priceless.. i had my own experience, and it teach me.

It's true. After sales service is very important as well.

You have a very bad experience with ACE? Tell more. I actually plan to buy PS3 as well.

Well, im not sure am i offended anyone here. but i really want to share my experience. I bought this PSP set from Marionet (from Perangin Mall).

After few days (3-5 days) i found out that the L button is bit steeped down. i went back to the shop to ask them can i change other set or anything. the seller wanted to change (as in just few days). he ask his boss, but his boss demand to left my set there no matter what. no matter how much i talk wit the seller, he say he cant help it but need me to leave the handset here.

Well without any option left, i leave it there. but i tell the seller make sure 100% dont scratch it. As i'm more to a perfectionist, i don't want any scratch. Before leaving i showed him my whole set and ensure that my set remain unscratch..

After 2days later i call him, he say my set ready ask me go back. Upon arrive he tell me that its not the button steep, its the model like this (when i bring over to show him he feel it ownself and say that its steep down and wanted to change for me, but now he is against wat he said). I understand that the model's R and L's button bit steep down. but my L is too steep. since he say cant change and cant do shit wit it. i cant do anything but take back. but after take back i found scratches on my UMD cover.. I'm trully pissed off..
