Anyone hold HLB Amex plat cc? Their website stated it's available by invitation only but my friend told me it's now open for application. Also it's come with free for life AF with conditions.(swipe 2 times a month or RM15k spending a year)

Minimum annual income requirement RM180k.

I want that waiver off the Platinum Charge Card too - just to check, did U have to reapply?! Unfortunately, I don't have great "relationship" with MBB - I prefer to keep my mother in my pillowcase/under the bed/in the fridge, etc

No need reapply. They sent me the invitation letter directly and I have never hold any Amex gold charge card before.
I call to their CS to comfirm the AF waiver, 3 times I get the same answer(1st year waived).
I try to ask for u if they can offer u but no guaranteed ya......

If I m not mistaken they r having promotion now with 3 years AF waived.
The gold charge card AF should be RM238.
U may log on to maybank2u website to get the info.

Yes. There is an annual fee but they are having this promotion now which offers you 3-year annual fee free. This offer is available to both AMEX Personal Charge Card and AMEX Gold Charge Card. You need to pay RM25/pa if you wish to earn membership rewards point whereas it is free if you are holding the AMEX Gold Charge Card.

I normally apply by fax... much faster to proccess.
