i dont think its spray chemical lo. its a collar that wears it all day. it works i guess coz i put ron outside the house. full of kutu but only boyboy and others shihtzu kena and not ron. so i think it works after all! its expensive for me.. rm35 for a collar but den worth it bah... giv it a try!

The colour of his fur when adult would be almost the same as the ears fur colour. You can see from the puppy picture that the ears colour are much more darker than the body fur, hence you can expect Ben's fur colour to get darker as he grow older.
I haven't used a tick collar before, but I don't really like them.
Firstly, there is a possibility that the puppy/dog, especially naughty and curious one will bite and chew it off. The collar itself is soaked of chemicals and are harmful if swallowed. The possibility is even higher for those with more than 1 dog in the house.
Secondly, constantly wearing tick collar is not so good on the fur around the neck, as it is constantly in touch with the chemical in the collar and also from the abrasion. In long run, the fur may thinned or become harsh.

I would prefer not to use chemical if possible, or if really needed - i will use frontline spot on.

Why old people like dog with roasted pig position?
I guess dogs laying down/sleeping with roasted pig position looks more alert. It is like in attention /ready for action position. They are likely to spring up and investigate the moment they hear any noise. As compared with those sleeping with 4 legs up or sideways, they usually sleep deeply. As such, they are more likely to just open an eye and peek for a while if they hear any noise and then goes back to sleep. 
Roasted pig position also looks nicer than 4 legs up mah , hehe ...more ong!

p/s: no male/female theory for roasted pig position too.... shushu always sleep with roasted pig position while kero sleeps with 4 legs up or sideways. Both are male

I never decided to buy at that time was scouting and etc

Then my mum helped me asked this petshop, they told her to check back in 2 weeks time
I was bored that day and rang the petshop asking if they have any, they said he was scheduled to arrived 2 weeks later, manatau the breeder sent him earlier than expected, so he just arrived

Went and check him out, doesnt really looks like the type i was looking for, but somehow i kinda like his temperament and behaviour
Didnt decide to buy him tho, i went back and tot carefully about him, and later in the evening went and buy him
I tried to look for home breeders for 4 months but couldnt locate any or couldnt find any i wanted

But they dont appeal to me tho, for example as of late adpost has plenty of back stabbing going around, i dont have confidence in them
Asean puppy do have plenty of nice looking GR's but then i heard complains/rumour about them, hence i stayed away

Actually the certificate is quite important in the sense that you make sure that there isn't inbreeding within the bloodlines of your dog... this is to reduce the risks of having an unhealthy puppy ...and also to make sure the puppy is really a golden..afterall..u paid good money for it

Sometimes i see petshops selling puppies that are selling puppies they claim to be golden retrieversr..but are really quite far away from the breed standard.... ie: at least 50% of the puppies i see have their tails standing around 60 degrees off their back ..
according to the UK/US breed standard it should be tapered straight off their back with perhaps a slight curl at the tip of their tails

Just some useful information for pple who are looking out for a puppy... =)

my hubby told me once he get back.. duh stupid one la...

insideurheaven.... i don't think you should give him heartgard now maybe after one year... like bigben i do a test first for him very expensive la... but the vet say he healthy don't need to take it... so he told me to be careful if any dogs near my house surrounding is sick or dying then give him heartgard for prevention.

is Labrador Retriever and Golden Retriever the same? because they look alike, just one has longer fur..

Barney eat what brand kibbles? Ben ler? What brand Ben eat now? I think what they eat may affect the teeth dropping time also. If they chew a lot then the teeth will drop faster, if i am not mistaken. I heard from one of my friend.
