QUOTE(^Hobbes^ @ Jun 17 2008, 08:53 AM) Dunno, he was on large kibbles since 5 weeks old I guess he got used to chewing already I guess Choi Choi got used to small kibbles or mebbe Choi Choi needs bigger kibbles so that she will chew insted of swallowing? So hows proformance ? Apart from his bones and his kibbles he dont chew on hard stuff Sam more its the back teeth not the front ones When he droped his teeth he was chewing a soft toy, unless his teeth is really that week that he drops his teeth even chewing a soft toy? Ben havent droped his teeth yet? Mebbe i shuld ask my doctor this week when he goes for his 4th injection hmm..i'm not sure also.i'll be going to my breeder to get ben's mka cert prob tmr.so i will be asking him bt ben's teeth and his progress lor.lolz...hmm..4th injection?u mean deworming ah? regarding proformance,so far no problem lo.he eats his kibbles as well but like it soaked with his rice.supper time,he'll eat the kibbles lor... depends.ben's dad will bark if there's anyone at the gates to notify my breeder that there's someone outside.ben also does the same as well.at least better than my mutt which only barks at stray dogs.

QUOTE(andyfriends @ Jun 22 2008, 09:59 PM) Knowing that lab is a smart dog. However, my brother's lab has caused us lot of problems. He is now 7 months old, he just cannot be taught. Everytime when we let him out, he will definitely bite our shoes, scratch our car etc. We have no choice but to keep him in the playpen. Wondering y is he so difficult to be trained. Added on June 22, 2008, 10:00 pmMy bro bought the alcana lamb and rice, 8kg. Guess it takes his dog (7months old) to finish in 1 1/2-2 months. Sigh. labs and grs are really smart dogs.they can be trained and taught.have u ever taught of taking him to obedience classes?it will help to straighten him out.did u even train him to do some tricks like sit, down, sit up etc?if not,u better start now.

QUOTE(andyfriends @ Jun 28 2008, 12:42 AM) how do u manage to do that? my bro? despite how he scolded and hitted his lab, he just no feeling still as naughty. puppies like to play esp at his age lor.maybe he's not hard enough.for me,if ben do something real bad and make me really angry,i take either newspaper wrapped it in a bundle and slam to the floor making a big thud or scold him teruk teruk and bring the stuff he ruin to him and say firmly NO and beat his mouth.it works for me.hopefully yours as well.

QUOTE(mattchin @ Jul 25 2008, 11:04 PM) this powder/dust thingy doesn't appear on day 1 o 2 after bath day... 3rd day onwards the powder/dust thingy will appear.. o yarh... she reli scared of water... got phobia... hmm..maybe it's not the bath problem.probably somewhere where she sleeps have this powder or somewhere she lie down.go and find out where she plays, rollover on something or etc...then maybe that's the culprit. one thing bt water phobia, ben at first also dislikes water when i first brought him back.what i did was hold the hose high up,he'll come and try to play with the water.sort of trying to grab the water, drink it etc.then only i bath him.now,he's not afraid of water anymore.when i ask him to come,he'll come without force.after his bath,if i said okay, then he'll leave the bathing area and wait till i wipe him dry...js tryout and see whether this works for u.goldens shouldn't be afraid of water.they love water.

HAND, SIT, DOWN... etc.. etc.. can b learned within few minutes.. no snacks treated.. icic...ben now don't need to be captured and hold up..i js leave the water on and he'll come automatically...hehe i have trouble training ben stay, roll over and heel and some others as well....but knows sit, down, lie down, sit up,give paws,hi 5.
