Hi Kent,

You should mix the canned food with the kibbles and put it on top of the kibbles.

Once you mix it with kibbles, she has no choice but to eat the kibbles along.

If she doesnt take the pill, smash it and put it in the kibbles mix canned food then.

Ya Junnie, I've mix them both, but she still will spit out the kibbles after the tongue cleaned the canned food =.=
I've smashed those pills and mixed well with the food..But the problem is, I've found she is more on attracted to canned food than having worm in the stomach =.= I really need to have patient to mix the kibbles and canned food then slowly reduce the canned ald. Or else, her fur will drop like hell..

War against picky eater.. blink.gif

You can try this..

Soak the half of the amount of the dog food with the canned food, then mix with the dry dog food and feed to her..

See if she still can choose one by one or not.. sweat.gif

Let's say normally you feed her one scoop of kibbles.

Take half a scoop, mix with canned food and then soak with water.

Once you see the kibbles are soften, mix with the other half scoop and feed to her

My GR.. REX is also a picky eater. 1 year 5 months.

Uploaded with ImageShack.us

Used to be taking blackwod2000 since a pup. After 8-9 months he started to have no appetite and whenever i put his food, he smells and walks away. sometimes not eating for 3 days, but also later will eat. hungry ma.

Its very difficult to feed a picky eater. i think my GR is also slim..need to pump more. i dont wanna feed him rice cos if feed rice he will never eat kibbles anymore. sad.gif

Hey Junnie, what do you think about the BARF - Raw Food? I heard there's alot of positive feedback on that. Any opinion??

I guess we should proceed with discussion through pm afterall, this thread is about retriever.

Well, there are lots controversial argument regarding this issue.

Some said it is better than dog food as it is prepared from fresh food compared to dog food which needed to be processed.

Some said it is an imbalance diet as it is difficult for us to judge whether the amount of nutrients provided from Barf is sufficient or vice versa.

Well, not all dogs can take raw too. My husky vomit when she eats raw meat.

The most important is your dog is being healthy with the diet that you are feeding; whether it is dog food or Barf.

Any idea on how to potty train my Golden Retriever??

He's 2 months 2 weeks now, and he only knows the "Sit" commands.

Besides, any website to share on how to command train my GR??

Dear all,

My sister is looking for a pet dog for her daughter and I recommended her to get a Labrador or Golden Retriever. I have a Beagle myself and Beagle is hard to handle sometime. Anyone have pure breed Labrador or Golden Retriever puppy for sell? Please contact me at 012-2186993. I'm staying in KL and seriously looking for one. Thanks.

3k plus for a pure breed...this was the last time i saw la..
then if golden mix Labrador will be 1k plus..coz usually if they mix, they wouldn't turn out nice..and could possibly be small size up to medium size...
where retrievers are large breed dog...
luckily mine though is medium size, but the outlook is exactly like golden... hehe~
