Hi there, we dewormed for her heart every month, but the stomach had been done for once when she was in the breeder's hand. Her diet is reducing, and can't finish the food always.

Do you think we should deworm her stomach? or there's any other matter that causes her like this?

i think it's best that u directly go to a vet and ask why...

hahah...this is the most headache part u will ever face...
usually, from my experience, a pup will be naughty up to 2 years, if they aren't sent to be trained...like mine...lol...

and oh yea, they loves to bite...anything that could possibly fits their mouth...because their teeth is growing, so it's kinda like an itch in their mouth...shoes are their favorite for chewing, and i don't really suggest ppl to get those bone(yellow coloured, mostly made of cow-skin) for them to chew, know why?

cause if they get use to chewing with the smell of cow skin, and u do have leather shoes, don't you? they will indirectly think that, your leather shoes is a chewing toy for em due to the smell...

do love him ya! =)
when they are small, they are superb playful, they tend to be in stable/mature age probably after 2 years, mine are 4 years old this year by august, and she's a calm one now, unless there is people visiting, then she would turn, into a "mad-cow"... lol

those poo poo and pee pee are normal....sometimes u kinda see it's like they know how to decorate your floor, the poo could be a straight line...lol...happens to me!

if u wish to teach him yourself....without proper lesson from a trainer, u will need a lot of determination to repeat the process....

i taught mine, paw, high-five, sit, down, come, out(like get outta the house, lol), no, kiss kiss, mumm mumm(to tell her when to eat her treaties)...lol i know the command seems funny..lol...
used to have another dog, where i tell her "tau tau(container)" then she would take her food container for me to put food in it for her to eat..lol

is like when u wanna train him to sit, u gentle push his butt down, make him in a sitting position then tell him sit...and each time u tell him sit, give him a small treaties, snack that he likes...then repeat until he get the meaning of when u says sit that means he's gotta sit down...but at the beginning stage, do have dog snack to give him or else, he will keep in mind that no snack, no need to listen...do the snack trick for some time...then like mine now....without snack, she listen....but of course with snack, she is even more obedient..lol....

Added on April 21, 2010, 10:21 pmthe best i suggest u to take your dog to K9 dog class where they learn more trick....up to a stage where your dog only will listen to u...to the extend of they won't even eat food given by other people...only if u have time for that, not for me...don't have that much time...lol...oh yea, one more fact, as i know, i think when they are older than like 2 years or 3 years old, they can hardly be taught anymore...
but not as young as 2 months...maybe like 6months old, you could give him a try and see...and u should train him pee and poo at the correct place, that's a hard one to train, for mine....lol....

Added on April 21, 2010, 10:30 pmone more thing, you better teach him not to simply bite anything....but this is like a the hardest thing to do....cause you know, they are growing teeth, so, the itch in their mouth..you know what i mean eh?
but if u don't control him over this, when he grows up, he will bites anything that he wanted to...
as for me, what i did was, grab her mouth, upper and lower part, squeeze them a little when they tend to disobey you on wanted to bite onto something..but don't squeeze too hard...or else you are gonna hurt his, gums...squeeze till u heard him whistling(which mean like a cry for a dog), then let go, then tell him "no", while you pointing at him...the "pointing" at him is important that u do it each time he did something wrong...if he tend to bite again, repeat...and slowly he will gets it...

then here where the "pointing" works....as for mine now, each time she did something wrong, whenever i pointed at her, she will roll back her ears and she knows she did something wrong..lol...but don't scold your lovely dog like the world is ending, they need to be love and pamper....the more u love em, they will sense it and the closer are your dog to you!

Hi Junnie, for the pill is it pink in color? My vet only did vaccination for 10 diseases. Bsides the heartgard that i gave 1 pc every month, no other deworming has been done on her since we got her from the breeder.

Yes, she is more interested with canned food rather than kibbles. But I cant feed her too much on canned food right? So I just fed her once a week mix with kibbles.

too much canned food or meat will makes em not taking dog biscuit anymore...i think make it like once a month...it's like a drug to them...lol....

oh yea..i got one more way to prevent your doggie to bite things that u really don't want him to bite...lol...use oilmen(minyak angin) on that particular thing that you don't want him to bite...
apply a small amount i enough....dog hate that minty smell..lol...especially your car.....if both side of your wheels has hard rubber attach to the fiber, apply there...he won't bite your tires of course,
but the hard rubber part is where dogs always bite...my toyota vios, all 4 side were almost bitten off..lol...until i discovered the oilmen, it's too late to save it.....so, when u saw cars with that part having bite marks, you can be sure they've got dogs in their house.. lol

3k plus for a pure breed...this was the last time i saw la..
then if golden mix Labrador will be 1k plus..coz usually if they mix, they wouldn't turn out nice..and could possibly be small size up to medium size...
where retrievers are large breed dog...
luckily mine though is medium size, but the outlook is exactly like golden... hehe~

one male GR, escaped from his owner...
and he entered my house compound..he jz walk in and sit by our door grill..we were surprise...but we wont get to save this one, cause i already have one mix retriever and one husky...

this GR is estimated to be 6months old ++..

the thing i doesnt like is, the owner never did take good care of him...

how can a pup's fur be so so rough to the extend, i believe he hasnt been bath for a long time till many of his fur tangle up and form a hard clogged fur..

and hes got some skin infection on his cheek area...i suspect the owner feed him chicken..which many dog are sensitive to..

another hell shit, he is on a super tiny collar..whereas, a few more months, hes gonna choke to death in that collar..i got a hard time trying to remove the collar, as my finger can hardly squeeze into it..imagine how tight it is..

i beh tahan, and got him bathe...remove those hard clogged fur for now..

trying to look for any good owner, if u guys have any friends which u know how to take good care of a furry dog, and wanted to adopt a GR, do inform me...

i personally dont think his current owner is gonna do him good in the future..skin infection, clogged fur, tiny collar, what's next?

desperate to get him a new home...
