morning !
can any1 tell me is golden retriever a good watch dog ?    TQ.

I have a Labrador and a Golden .. My Lab never barked at strangers or lets just say she didnt bark at anything she sees but just keeps a close watch there .. After adopting my 1 year old plus Golden , she's really a good watchdog sweat.gif sweat.gif , she will bark at strangers that come close to the gates .. and ever since she's with us , my Lab barks together when they see strangers , etc .

Knowing that lab is a smart dog. However, my brother's lab has caused us lot of problems. He is now 7 months old, he just cannot be taught. Everytime when we let him out, he will definitely bite our shoes, scratch our car etc. We have no choice but to keep him in the playpen. Wondering y is he so difficult to be trained.

My bro bought the alcana lamb and rice, 8kg. Guess it takes his dog (7months old) to finish in 1 1/2-2 months. Sigh. rclxub.gif

It takes alot of time to discipline your babies . Fala made a mess outta everything inside the house when she was4 to 7 months after that she has been good til now . Now everytime she has her mouth on anything when she hears me saying 'Fala , no' , she will put down .. by herself .
