Thanks for the compliment! blush.gif

BTW,you seems to have a good foundation skills & in fact I also started to honed my 3d app/game modding things through self-thought during my high school year(darjah 6,2002)

So I know you can go further easily without the need of college training...trust me,I been through that time,& yes the exploration is endless,& now I still learn some new stuff from self-studies & some others...needless to say there is still lot more to be covered, but atleast my basic foundation skill for the 3d making app is already set-in.

So here is some update.I finally made the launch pad(Launch Complex 39A aka LC-39A) but it still far from finish. But anyway here is the screenshot.

Crawler secured itself on Lauch Complex(39A). This would be the site for launch,& few kilometers from Crawlerway & Launch Site, there is the group of thousand of manpower to conduct the orchestral, dubbed mission control & the building that would control the permission to launch & the firing sequences is known as NASA mission Control Centre with its iconic call radiosign,HOUSTON.

Thanks for the encouragement bro! I'm can't wait to start Uni life soon after I get my results! I'm thinking of going to The One Academy. What you think? Which institute are you from anyways?
And what program are you using for that rocket project? That scene reminds me of the Transformers 3 takeoff scene biggrin.gif

Very nice. Maybe you should make an animation like OH suggested. Although if your client is NASA, they wouldn't be happy seeing their shuttle explode. laugh.gif

Thanks for the support!

My bad habit actually.....I love to model something that I didnt even use or to be even see on the rendering & thats make all the heavy duty work for my rig & most oftenly failed on me...... sad.gif
But I still need to get through all of it for all the prize...like this project I never thought that I would model all the unrelated things since it was mean to be the crawler but then, as my passion going on,the thing started to get more & more detailed treatment...so now kinda love the outcome. tongue.gif

Anyway, here is additional update on the launch site. This is the iconic big 39 Complex warning system sign.It can be found at some section of crawlerway on KSC,just before the launch site gate, mission control centre,& media press site near the countdown clock.

Though there is installation A & B,the C site was absent since the plan to built the site never materialized.

If your colleague can only deliver 20% of what you see here, you need to get a better replacement. tongue.gif

not all architectural firm produce a good arch viz... they are architect, they mainly concentrate in architecture design.
visualization is another profession. but there are some architect firm produce a very good art work though...

Valex:No,just my concept rendering based on cancelled real life project for next gen Space Transport Launch(STL) to replace Space Transport System(Space Shuttle STS) that has been retired on last year.

BTW,here is some small update of Takeoff sequences rendering.Made the big steam cloud with Zbrush then touching up using 3dsmax & photoshop for final production. It does look good just like using the lume plugin actually, albeit this one is for still rendering use only & the only way I can think to save the rendering time for still image.(not for film/animation as the plugin does)

So after resting for almost 2 weeks....I made an update.

Here is the rocket after all the seperation from main launch engine SC-III,SC-II,& finally the aft. interstage before the main single thruster J-2 engine was on to give few more acceleration for Command Service Module(CSM) together with the payload & Lunar Orbit Rendezvous vehicle(LOR) to reach the moon.

So now I made more details for the stage,& I finally made the Lunar Module.

user posted image

The Lunar Module(LM) assembly before launch. The LM is enclosed inside SC-II stage where the Command Service Module(CSM)is the upper part of LM assembly.

user posted image

The position after all main engine seperation & stage thrusting. The SC-II dock would be opened & CSM will pull out the LM(spacecraft) & the LM module would be in orbit parking position while the SC-II would be fired away to commencing the CSM Translunar Injection(TLI) from earth orbit to the LM where they would make Space Rondezvous. Then, the process(called "Midcourse correction SPS mode) is complete with CSM would fire its main engine for 3 days journey to moon for Lunar Orbit Rendezvous.
