anyone tried to increase the pci-e voltage?

As long as can game for a few hours without artifact and pass 3dmark then ok already.

WTask..do ATITool's 'scan for artifacts' option take gc under full load?i oced my zotac 8800gt with hr03..using atitool got max core 720 shader 1800 memory 1900..is that can be considered gud enough edi?default core 660 memory 1800?thx

oh damn..after reading this thread i really wana change from 86GT to 88GT..aiya..i did test my gt86 with 3DMark06 but the mark really dun achieve what i want..the around 7500-8300..zzzzz regret after buying 86GT last 2 week.. T.T

urs very hot ah? i personally feel not worth it.... somtimes think back the items i brought... izzit really a need ah?? sometimes regret about it as i think back the money...sayangnya ..

anyway if u say u wanna extremely oc it to get advantage of it... yes if u dont need to buy 3rd party cooler.... but if u bought it... then its not an advantage of OC anymore.. its more like u pay for the performance = buying an even better graphic card directly...

anyway just my personal opinion..

I just got myself the Galaxy 8800GT 512MB and manage to achieve around 14,700 3dmark06 755/1887/1030 on E8200@4Ghz. Btw, I removed the stock cooler and mod it with an old Thermaltake Typhoon + YS Tech fan, Thermaltake RAM sicks and did the vMem mod.

I need to test further and see what's the best OC I can get out of this

tot the fan perform very good... as a J-Slade got Idle temp is nice 41°C and load temp is 51~52°C...... still need to change ka ??? mine 48-49'c idle and 65'c load when 740/1838/2136 then means must change lor...

bro push ur vcore to 1.3v and oc the shaders to 2.0ghz
btw, how much volts did u pushed for the memory??
the galaxy uses qimonda chips rite??

ben_panced, the max. I can get from that card is 1.25V (measured with multi-meter). I still need a vGPU mod to go higher than that. Galaxy uses Samsung and I had memory volts at 2.15V. I still need to test how far I can go

it is worth all of d money spent IF ur gc very hot with stock fan..in my case my gc temp was 90C with stock fan when playing stalker..now i use hr03 gt n d temp drop to 70C max after 2 hours of stalker ..

Wah,good oc man.1887shader is no joke.My PNY show permanent artifact@720/1800/950 during 3dmark06 and currently on RMA But then your card is 1.25v default which i think is .15v more than stock 8800GT

your PNY is stock factory OC at those clock and memory or u OC it yourself until that setting from stock ??

Default vGPU should be around 1.1V but this card gives 1.25V BUT it's still not enough I'm still waiting for some chaps over at Xtreme to come up with a vGPU mod. Anyway, here are some pictures as promised:













My idle is around 42-44C in an air-cond room and highest is around 55-57C with 3dmark06/ATI Tool. I'm not sure if the score or temps are good as I've been totally out of the graphics card scene for a while. The last time I used 3dmark was the 2001 version Anyway, I can't seem to post my results online after my 3dmark06 run? The site is too slow.
