went to japan 3 times for the last 4 years. planning to go again, especially with current exchange which is quite low... still have my 2000 yen and 500yen ntt phone card

you can try check out fast food tempura shop (sells only seafood tempura) TENYA. there are branches in Asakusa (near the big gate), Shinjuku, Akihabara, Ikebukuro...good price, very filling.

However, Japan is well-known for their advanced equipment, they kept it in their homeland (japan).
I found out that there's so many version of laptop, camera and handphone not available at overseas.
Furthermore, Japan electrical equipment, majority of it made in Japan.
Quality is superb.
Personallly, i think it worth to buy Laptop at japan rather than at M'sia.

Yeah, certain areas got lots of closed shop due to this holiday (supposed to be till next Tuesday).
Just go to the popular tourist landmarks, there for sure open

Asakusa is a good place to go for this holiday
