Jack Neo's movies have zero subtlety in them. They are crude, unrefined, unprofessional and crap. This post has been edited by QuickFire: Sep 20 2009, 01:19 PM |

The first one is easily the best, but I enjoy all three, and wouldnt mind a fourth. Less of Bloom and Knightley, more of Jack Sparrow and Barbossa please.
I saw Robocop and Total Recall, two excellent Verhoeven movies. |

Hulk
Fully-fleshed out characters, a fully-realized script, some kickass action sequences and a unique visual style make this one of the best comic book movies I've seen. It's transcendent the way The Dark Knight is. I still dont understand how the general population can dislike this one so much. The only reason I can think of is they were expecting a cheap and fast Ramly burger and got served class A serious gourmet shit and didnt like it. Definitely in the running for the most underrated gem of all time. This is brilliant. This post has been edited by QuickFire: Sep 21 2009, 11:12 PM |

It is actually not too bad a movie.... if Zac Efron isn't Zac Efron... Am I making sense?? This post has been edited by Mov_freak: Sep 22 2009, 05:03 PM |

Yes it's Ang Lee's Hulk from 2003, not Some Mediocre Hollywood Director's The Mediocre Hulk from last year. I've seen it 4 or 5 times now.

I wouldn't necessary call Louis Leterrier who directed The Incredible Hulk a hollywood director. He is french and had done alot of other stuff (in France and not hollywood). He is currently working on the New Clash of the Titans. I still think that the new version of Hulk has merits too! To each their own I suppose!! Added on September 22, 2009, 10:51 pmA Few Good Men Wow, have not seen this for a while, and was taken aback by how many big names are attached to this drama!!? Am a great fan of Rob Reiner (director of The Princess Bride). Also am still very impress with how the cast "brought it" to the movie, making this drama movie VERY engaging and entertaining. Good job Rob!! This post has been edited by Mov_freak: Sep 22 2009, 10:54 PM |

I forgot it was Leterrier who directed it. I havent seen anything noteworthy by him. The Incredible Hulk isnt bad, it's just your run-of-the-mill action blockbuster. The only thing I know about Clash of the Titans is that Matt Bellamy from Muse has said he might score parts of the movie. lol
I saw A Few Good Men a month or two back. Pretty good movie, engaging enough, though I though the beginning wasnt very good. The climatic courtroom showdown between the two actors draws majorly from their star powers... and it works damn well. Demi Moore was terrible. And she wasnt even attractive in this one... shame. |

Potc trilogy is my favourite. However, i think Bloom and Knightly are the weakest part of the movies..

QUOTE(Mov_freak @ Sep 23 2009, 07:38 AM) Nope I don't like them both. As good as it gets - what's so great about it? It's just a rom-com for the older folks and Jack was just Jack, i don't understand his and Helen Hunt's Oscar either. Bucket List was a little pushing the limits - it's unbelievable and to be honest, it's kinda tiring seeing him and Morgan Freeman playing the same role for over 30 years now. Maybe not Jack but at least for Morgan. |
