yes, you are right. They are really useless. They replied me to wait 24 hours from account opening and I replied that i have been waiting for more than 24 hours and he replied me again the same email

I guess they don't read the content properly and just hamtam you the reply



Both tickets were replied by the same person with same content ALTHOUGH I HAVE MENTIONED my registration date!!!!!

I just received the notifications that account activated.

Too much bullshit, lying to customer and overpromise.

Somemore need to contact customer support to get account activated for no reason


Really not having good experience.

that why. I told you already that they lied you with such reason....to avoid the issue that they have actually approved you within 24 hours to the system issue rather than to be blamed.

They are a bank and integrity is very important. How to trust further if they have too much bullshit?

By the way, I am very much concerned with two matters:
1) AEON Points Programme Membership Fee Waiver -> first year waiver worth RM12
Does it mean second year onwards will charge RM12 ?
I am not a fan of Aeon Mall, can i give up the membership and save the RM12?

2) Annual service fee -> first year waived
Does it mean second year onwards will charge RM8 ?
If I don't activate debit card, can I avoid this fee?

Beware of the debit card annual fee trap. Don't suka-suka request for physical card unless you really need it.

1) I just saw a clause there, saying "Membership renewal will be reflected within 7 working days of request of renewal". The word "request" is the key. So if I don't request for renewal, the membership will just go expire and I won't be charged right?

2) Thanks for pointing out. So a virtual card will do for me. No card also no problem.

At your own discretion and beware of Integrity issue too.

They can reply the ticket/email within 2 mins. It is fast enough but they don't read the content at all.

They thought most of the emails received are related to why no approval and they just replied standard template to ask you wait 24 hours WITHOUT READ IT PROPERLY

I already used it yesterday when coming back from airport. Transaction not reflected yet. may be need to wait 3 days but get notification. amount deducted. Now see if got 3x point

Anyone knows when will they charge the annual fee? Like Jan next year or following account opening date?

Did they say how to close account? If you google "AEON BANK CLOSE ACCOUNT" there seems to be a FAQ in place but I couldn't find it.

Aeon bank stated daily interest also. But tested 1 night nothing in yet.

Just do it. Get the RM15 and punish them by closing account x number of months later.
