For Digi Prepaid, if validity expires before an ongoing data plan/addd-on BOS one time offer ends, will reloading after expiry of validity forfeit the remaining unused data/add-on OR will the unfinished data/add-on then continues to run its course after validity has been restored?
*
for digi prepaid, good thing is that the validity will be renewed if u buy a valid plan also...

meaning ur main account let's say with rm30 balance inside but account validity is going to expire on 4 Jan 2025.
even u dun reload to extend the validity, u just buy a valid plan today e.g. rm25 monthly plan, the validity will be renewed for another 1 month one.

Today wifu went to a celcomdigi branch. Want to change plan to get new iPhone 16. The rep claimed need to add a new line for an extra rm20 per month. But can terminate after 3 months. So wifu decided to call bullshit and just left.

digi store has many of these kind of staff that purposely advise u otherwise just to trick u to sign up their postpaid plan. i think it is for their KPI/commission.

dun listen to them, just confront them with the tnc or faq on the digi website.

if they insist, threaten to complain to MCMC.

Went to another branch last week also they fed the same bullshit so too lazy to deal with them.

I guess their KPI is new account or new numbers. For existing account who just want new devices under the device plan, it's not their KPI. So apa lagi. Bypass them and just use the online services.

This is the "Always Active" feature.

Didn't work anymore for me. I topped up RM100 (120 days validity). Plan is RM10 monthly. First 4 mths OK, 5th month, no longer auto renews. Asked Digi CS, they saw bcos validity expired. Using Digi Prepaid Live.

is it? maybe they are making loss due to this feature? becos almost all prepaid rm1 = 1 day validity.... so minimally, any prepaid users will contribute minimum rm30 per month to telco. tongue.gif digi is an exception due to this feature.

anyway, my current account validity is until 17 feb 2025. while i have my currrent plan valid until 16++ days later. will need to wait till over 17 feb 2025 to tell if it is the case.

anyway, i just want to finish up the credits in my prepaid account and port back to hotlink prepaid. tongue.gif so dun bother about this anyway haha.

I believe every telco store have this kind of staff. Once I wanted to change hotlink postpaid to the east M'sia promo, staff said only available for new number. I showed them the website FAQ, still no go. I port out few days and return to port in and get the promo.

As a consumer I dun think we are deserved this kind of behaviours from the staff. And obviously they are taking consumers as granted now at the expense of consumers which we should never encourage.

I highly suggest that as consumers we should voice out to make the complaints to telco and MCMC to let them realise their mistakes and stop this kind of behaviours.

New twist in me and wifu foray of getting a new iPhone with celcomdigi device plans.

After 2 different celcomdigi branches staff asking her to apply for new line in order to get the iPhone plan, she went the online route and got the phone already. No need to add any new lines.

So today we went to a bluecube? What's the new name? To get ESim.

Get the esim, was told it's rm10. Wifu paid cash, no receipt whatsoever. Was told cannot pay via billing or any cashless. I checked celcomdigi website no such charges. Hahahaha. Wifu furious kena scam 10 ringgit. Had to placate her with chagee next door.

Hi all sifu, I am thinking to change a new plan for getting new iphone from celcom digi. But I found that they only provide postpaid plan with 6 months free home fibre which is not applicable to me.

Anyone here can share some info? What if I would like to get a new iphone from telco without taking up the home fibre?

When I got a new phone a few months ago, I went to Digi Store C180 to convert/transfer the existing eSIM to the new phone. They told me prepaid cannot, only Postpaid can have eSIM. Very strange since this is the same store where I got my eSIM for free 3 yrs ago. Ended up paying RM10 for a SIM card. New policy since the merger, they said.

2 days later, randomly dropped by Digi Express PJ State(dealer) and converted that 2-day old SIM card to eSIM for free.

after such confusion i did call celcomdigi hotline for clarification,
kiosk sim replacements rm10 is legit, esim is foc period!
collecting cash without official mail or receipt for customer means someone is corrupting (masuk pocket) at the front end πŸ™Š

it should be free.. i replaced mine few months back by converting from physical sim to esim. and i went to digi store (official and not 3rd party authorised dealer).

FAQ clearly stated that the request to convert is free (i never see anywhere mentioned any rm10 replacement fee).

anyone who went to request for esim replacement, should show them this and demand for free replacement without listening to the shxt from them.
