You cannot spend money in pockets. In case your card got heck, all money inside the pocket is safe from the debit card hack.

yes it is immediate. no waiting time. that's the whole point of pockets.

DuitNow is very important aspect to digital banking....

no electricity - these servers have backup power/UPS - any proper banking system would - likewise a digital bank. no internet i find that hard to believe - i dont ever recall of my 40 plus years of existence has that ever happened (no local broadband/mobile data at all/down). if you say like that normal banking also wont work, whole world standstill. just make sure you have real hard cash on hard then (which is why they say cash is king )

Your traditional bank still issue you pass book or not? If no electric how to verify your acct balance if you go counter and withdraw money manually?

So yes, GX bank is screwed. But so is mbb cimb etc

Banks dont issue passbooks anymore; you only have your mykad + a/c no to access your money

ycs means they have letrik to check, as no banks prints out your latest bank balance for manual retrieval anymore. If they can check, they can also check GX bank balance
