You will be provided with two meter.

One to track how much u gave back to TNB

One to track ur consumptiom

End of the month they calculate nett usage.
- If u gave back more than u use, they will be credited into your TNB account to roll forward next month. But this amount get reset every year 31st december.
- if u use more than u give. Then u pay the excess that u use just like before.

It will be NEM CREDIT valid for 1 year. Expire every 31/12

What I love about solar export is.

When u generates ur own power, tnb won't track it
They only track what u have use.
So for ppl who use solar to lower down their electricity
They still being charge the lower tier price only

My contractor hinted they can install more panel if i want. I didnt ask for specifics because i dont need it... yet. Lol

Actually u can install up to 17kwp size panel. But my advice is follow your usage. Don’t overdo. No point.

If u don’t overdo it, u will not have this to worry. Also, u don’t need to spend too much on the bigger system in the first place.

You are right Seda will also check the three months consumption and verify before approving the account for how big a system. They do not expect the solar systems in the thousands to hundreds of thousands to carry too much "risk" on their system.
