QUOTE(bee88 @ Apr 15 2024, 08:39 AM) It is not LOSS. your production is feed into your DB, where it get distributed to the appliances. When u produce, Tnb meter won’t import because u have another source of electricity (solar). And when u produce more than u use, the extra gets pushed to Tnb as export. Good to know, i didn't know it worked that way without any battery storage. The electricity generated will be used throught DB before being sent back to TNB. Only night time, u need to feed from Tnb 100%. QUOTE(bee88 @ Apr 15 2024, 10:53 AM) Will it accumulate? I thought those excess will be "earned" by TNB and not accumulated for consumer? |

You will be provided with two meter. Will it accumulate? I thought those excess will be "earned" by TNB and not accumulated for consumer? One to track how much u gave back to TNB One to track ur consumptiom End of the month they calculate nett usage. - If u gave back more than u use, they will be credited into your TNB account to roll forward next month. But this amount get reset every year 31st december. - if u use more than u give. Then u pay the excess that u use just like before. |

What I love about solar export is.
When u generates ur own power, tnb won't track it They only track what u have use. So for ppl who use solar to lower down their electricity They still being charge the lower tier price only This post has been edited by munak991: Apr 16 2024, 09:52 AM |

QUOTE(skywardsword @ Apr 16 2024, 08:54 PM) yeah, which is a fine print people need to be wary!!! Nov, if you got lots off credit. Than quickly, do all the laundry, use dryer, find friend with EV and jom them to come your house charge their cars and bring BEER, Chips, Cakes and all the good FOOD. If u don’t overdo it, u will not have this to worry. Also, u don’t need to spend too much on the bigger system in the first place. |

You are right Seda will also check the three months consumption and verify before approving the account for how big a system. They do not expect the solar systems in the thousands to hundreds of thousands to carry too much "risk" on their system. |
