Dunno lol.
Didn't really read the Noctua's website. tongue.gif

did noctua change the fan rubber mounting kit as well?

i just love the rubber mounting kit. 0 noise generated.

hell with this metal tensioning bracket, like TR using, may lead to more
noise......

Which rubber mounting? The Noctua heatsink doesn't has any noise reduction mounting for the fan.

Would an Arctic Cooling freezer 7 pro be able to fit into a Asus P5N-D mobo (fan blowing towards rear exhaust)? Sorry if this queston is in the wrong place blush.gif

should be able to fit any motherboard.. so yours should not be a problem at all. The AC Freezer 7 fan should face the rams.. instead.

Face the rams? as in the air blow out of the ehatsink to the rams?
I'm thinking of aligning it to blow the air out of the rear exhaust. The downside is, the intake air from the front of casing will pass through the rams first before reaching the HSF. I'm hoping that if I get a casing with top exhaust, it'll reduce this problem.
I'm just worried my northbridge Heat sink will get in the way ( = quite large, as it's a fanless design
