QUOTE(overclockalbert @ Mar 5 2008, 08:53 PM) did noctua change the fan rubber mounting kit as well? Which rubber mounting? The Noctua heatsink doesn't has any noise reduction mounting for the fan.i just love the rubber mounting kit. 0 noise generated. hell with this metal tensioning bracket, like TR using, may lead to more noise...... |

should be able to fit any motherboard.. so yours should not be a problem at all. The AC Freezer 7 fan should face the rams.. instead.

Face the rams? as in the air blow out of the ehatsink to the rams?I'm thinking of aligning it to blow the air out of the rear exhaust. The downside is, the intake air from the front of casing will pass through the rams first before reaching the HSF. I'm hoping that if I get a casing with top exhaust, it'll reduce this problem. I'm just worried my northbridge Heat sink will get in the way ( = quite large, as it's a fanless design This post has been edited by RahXeph0n: Mar 8 2008, 06:54 PM |
