sHawTY, you should include ambient/air intake temperature in the lists smile.gif
That is easy to be said than done.
Tell me, how many of us has the hardware to test ambient/intake temperature tester module? smile.gif

To -vip3rleon9-:
None of your info is added. This is because you didn't provide the complete data.

And please, no stock heatsink here.
Thank you. smile.gif

bro, here my stats,

toughnut ~ Core2Duo E6600 @ 3.2GHz ~ 1.375Volts ~ Xigmatek S1283 ~ Idle 31°C, Load 50°C

btw, do we need screenshot?
toughnut, your vcore is too high for an e6600 running at 3.2GHz.
All 3 of my previous E6600 can run at 400X8 = 3.2GHz @ only 1.325Volts.

3 of my previous E6600 consists of:
1 unit of e6600 ES.
1 unit of e6600 OEM.
1 unit of e6600 Retail.

All 3 of them has the capability of running at 3.2GHz @ only 1.325volts liao.

Your vcore is too high liao. sweat.gif

Well, i'd certainly go for the xigmatek, the price is cheap but it performs at the same level as Ultra 120 Ex.
Although IFX is teh best on performance and aesthetics, but don't forget about the price and the size.
I'd certainly don't want that bulky heatsink in my system.

Seriously.

Well, both type of heatsink that is blow out [Ultra 120] and blow down [Bigthyphoon] has it's own pro's and con's.
The blow out heatsink can help exhausting the hot air out of the casing directly, that's a good thing, however, the weakness, it doesn't help in cooling those hot pwm's and some other stuff on the motherboard.

While those blow down type of heatsink does help in cooling the PWM's and some other stuff on the motherboard but it's weakness, it always blow back to the system and does not help much in exhausting the hot air in the system.

Both types of heatsink has it's own pro's and con's.
